Blog Birthday Special: Touring A Mizuki Nana Shrine (a.k.a My Room)

Happy 1st birthday to danie’s shopping log!

I generally don’t remember birthdays (I even forget my brother’s), but yeah I do remember that Nana’s Live Formula was released last year around this time.. which was the reason I started this blog.

I have no time to write anything worth reading or scans worth fapping (I’m sorry), so I decided to take the easy way and snapped few shots of my room instead. Yep, it’s a room post out of nowhere! XD

..what any room should have instead of useless windows.

OK, photos below are definitely not safe for the weak hearts. I’m hontou ni kimoi and my room reflects that perfectly. :P

I live alone in a mini-studio near my campus. This is all I got: a square room with separate bathroom and kitchen, lol student life.

..the best view of my room? lol in an abnormal way.

Sometimes I wonder what normal people will think when they see that (almost) lifesize Nana poster there. Framed. With two animu lolis guarding it. And another two Nana-in-frames on top. Oh btw I just put up the two Minorin calendar there, coincidentally in the correct months, though the real reason is just cos I simply love her smile.

This is where I spend most of my time awake (sitting on that barely visible blue beanbag while leaning to my bed frame). Mostly staring at my laptop or playing the dusty PS3. Hm, listing what you can see here:
- Underneath the wireless keyboard is my dear scanner whom I should credit for my digital fapping materials..
- ..with of course, a tissue box (the red box below the table), on its best position to give me some quick aid when I nosebleed for various reasons.
- That fugly pink alien doll is Nans’s Fanclub mascot, called Nanachomo if I reckon correctly. Don’t ask me what creature that is cos I haz no idea.
- Next to the doll you can see a small collection of my games, I onli got 3 PSP games and 3 PS3 games and that’s it. I’m not much of a gamer, PS3 is for bluray!
- Alter Fate got a special spot cos she’s my dearest plastic loli.

PS. Good for you who can recognise my ciggy brand~ :P

The most boring part of my room? The door leads to my bathroom (lol Hocchan reminds me of toilet? lmao *runs from a certain fan*). And Paradise Lost poster <3

Cupboard is for posters.

lol um yeah, the top part (with animu stick posters and usamimi there) is full of my figurines, boxed, cos I will sell most of those later this year. Ummm, not much to say but enjoy the posters? xD My personal favorite is the left-bottom one, so sweet~ oh, and the pink Animedia White Album poster actually haz Hirano Aya but it lost the natural selection and is kissing the door atm.

My favorite corner! Not onli cos it has nyan Nana and kimono Nana, but that’s my treasure you’re seeing there: the shitload collection of CD and DVD I bought over the years of fangirling. They worth  more than my life. Moar details below :3

Obvious but I like listing them <3 Top-side haz Nana, Minorin, Animelo, Yukarin, Minami, Suara, animu op/ed, etc etc.. and those on the middle top are my otagei equipments. Bottom-side haz more Nana (ahem), Makkun, Im@s, Momoi, JAM, moar anison and OST, and some Jpop crap..

Another corner of my room. The door on the left leads to my kitchen, hence the appropriate Yukarin-in-the-kitchen poster.. in the midst of Nanas there. I’m planning to remove that Animelo 2008 poster but never got around to do it. Anyway, on to the more interesting part of this corner: the shelf~!

- Top Row: The suspicious big box on the left is where I keep animu DVD from various regions. The middle hole is full of Nana-related books and magazines. I’m proud to say that I own every single hm3 that has Nana as the cover lmao, also all concert books and two photo books. I onli need that damn SmileGang 1st and 2nd books. Right-most is for random nendoroids, I’m gonna sell most of those.

- Middle Row: Left is full of random shit like Harry Potter book, some Western TV series DVD (I’m a huge fan of LOST), and School Rumble DVD (Aussie). Middle got, uh, animu doujinshi, mostly NanoFate from Comiket. Next to it is seiyuu magazines with someone else other than Nana in front.
- Bottom Row: Alter Fate box took up the left-most hole. The other two are just Nendoroids in boxes, some manga, and ugh study books.

..

So yeah, that’s about it I guess. Hope you enjoyed the tour to Nanaland~! Oh btw cookies for anyone who can count how many Nana goodies I have there. lol I don’t even know the answer myself~ xD

Good thing you didn’t have any scans. Might have popped a nose bleed. :>

But words cannot describe how jealous I am of your everything. Actually, I just really want that Yukarin kitchen pink outfit thingy thignitiorgdsgagag DAMMIT. ;_;

PS - Such a wota room for a handsome guy. ;D

And you said you want posters from us, I don’t think there are much wall left for you to put them on.

Unless you were thinking of sticking them on the ceiling?

I’ve been waiting for this post for a long time now and it didn’t disappoint =D. OMG I want to steal half your stuff. Especially that hugeass Nana poster…

And I love how you only have like 2 study books.

I was talking to raizoo on IRC…

Just wondering, is there something like Kinokuniya where you live (I know there’s one in SYD) that you can order from?

Or is most of them online ordering through Amazon and likes?

Cuz I know there is bugger all down in Kiwiland…

lol finally posted it eh.

Oh and happy (blog) birthday! Everyone seems too busy nosebleeding to congratulate you….

Happy blog birthday!

I’m always envious of people who will take the time and energy to frame everything and make their rooms like nice (it does makes moving so, so hard though)

grats, happy 1 year bday! :D

“Oh and happy (blog) birthday! Everyone seems too busy nosebleeding to congratulate you….”

Ooops. Guilty.

Happy 1st~!!! For some reason I thought you started your blog in August…

@r: Shut up you hentai loli.

@j1m0ne: Thanks dear <3

@kiseki gurl: ..prob cos that’s when I started to blog regularly? :P Thanks btw.

@Basaka: Everything were bought online, except the occasional anime DVDs. Kino stuff is expensive cos they charge you the shipping $ too, so I prefer online stores to deliver them to my door.

@paranda: lol yeah free time heh, I miss that. I moved to this place end of last year, and indeed moving the stuff was paaaaaain in the ass.

@ron~: Thanks! Should’ve mentioned your name there, cos you gave me the space. :P Edit later.

is that framed poster (the one with the 2 anime “guardians”) lifesize (as in, nanas real height, etc)? If so, shes mega short, hah.

D : u need fate dakimakura D :

Nice view of your room and it’s neat XD
Happy (Blog) birthday~

Love your collections there ^^
And WOW O_o at your mouse pad…feels comfy XD

so envious….!wish that i cld grow up rite away and have such collections!!!ahh….fate, nanoha, nana!!! happy (blog) b’dae!=D

p.s. wat does hontou ni kimoi means?

@gekkie: You’re never to young to start worshiping Nana-sama XD

Oh wow, I assume that should any of us step into your shrine for Nana we’d hear angels voices singing (Pfft, what am I saying, obviously it’d be your choice of Nana-chan’s best =P). Happy Bloggie Birthday, keep up with the inducing of blood loss of Nana fans everywhere :D

@Danie: I’m so going to loot your place if I ever visit you. Especially that Nyan Nana poster. And that almost-lifesized Nana poster. And that Kimono Nana poster. The list goes on.

D’ is right though. You need a Fate dakimakura. :D

Your room is truely blessed by multiple goddess, the only problem is that it would be stained with fresh blood everytime someone walks in.

Dudette… The only thing my room has in common with yours is that mini Yuki poster T_T Everything else… makes me (understandably :p) jealous >._>; So yeah, other than that, ‘grats on the 1st B.Day XD Me will work hard to keep adding stuff (at a reasonable pace lol) to my room ò.ó *longs to live alone… eventually*

All haul our Nana-sama overlords…? ^^;; Pretty impressive room if I do say so myself and much envy on the various Nana posters (want the kimono Nana one bad)!

Also congrats on the one year of blogging! Feels like you’ve been around longer than that but I guess time just flies. I look forward to you being 1/4 of the reason I go broke on seiyuu related goods this year (again) as well!

Congratulation on your blog’s birthday, I wouldn’t have so many posters on my room but it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t like to own some of those.

It’s funny that you like Mizuki, Minorin and Makkun, cause those are probably some of my favorite female singers as well. I wonder if we would be friends if we’d lived in the same country lol.

Btw, that big poster makes me ask: how tall Nana actually is ? 1.52ish mts ?

framing my Nana posters are a very good idea..!

your room is an inspiration to all, seriously good job, especially since you live in Australia and all :< I’m very envious!

anyway, happy birthday to your blog!!

love from a long time lurker!

PS: just a quick question, how/where do you order your goodies from? amazon? cdjapan? I hail from sydney and am trying to find the best way to order ULTIMATE DIAMOND and other Nana-sama goodies..

I’m gonna take the liberty of answering one of the questions here :p

@Sebastian: Officially, Nana’s height is 1m 53cm (officially, meaning, on anime news network and sites like that :p) but if my memory doesn’t fail me, Nana herself said once that she’s 1′52, so yeah, you got it right there XP

Don’t ask me where she said that, ’cause I’m not sure… I do believe it was in one of her “making of” videos though >_>; Actually, I think it was in the Live MuseumxUniverse DVD, not sure which one of the two’s making of though XD

oya~where did u get all those posters from?from concerts, dvds and?

@D’ and Julius: Uh, what do you think I’m hiding under that suspiciously bloated quilt? >:D
……nah j/k, my bed is too small for a dakimakura :P and wat kind of girl has dakimakura?!

@selo: I measured the poster for making the frame (oh yeah it’s freakin’ hand-made with love), Nana’s only 140ish in that poster, so it’s slightly smaller than the real deal, but enuf for me. <3

@gekkie: hontou ni kimoi == totally disgusting.
I got the posters mostly from magazines (see the rack full of hm3?).

@moy: lol prob cos I’ve been lurking forever (including to your used-to-be figurine blog).. but yeah let’s have another year of no cash!

@Sebastian: lol Nana+Minorin+Makkun combo fan is not dat hard to find. ;)

@alice: Um depend on wat you meant by “best”.. Amazon has discounts, but CDJapan guarantees you the 1st press edition. I prefer the latter for Nana goodies.

As I always said…all I see in your room is - “Nana, nana, nana, nana, nana, nana, oh hai Minorin…then Nana, nana, nana, nana, nana, kyaa Hocchan!!!…again Nana, nana, nana, nana, nana oh yukarin”.

*me takes a lighter and commits arson to danie’s room*

ouch, burning that room would be like burning some sort of international treasure (yup, it’s even on a higher scale than some national treasure :p).

Having said that, I just realized something… There was that Nana video once about her The Museum recopilatory album where she went around a room making it seem like it really were some Museum dedicated to her… Well, I believe this room here would do the job better lol

hi hi Im from mexico and im your fan……i always see this place looking for nana notices Im from mexico, im 17 years old and my english y so bad…..jajajaja…mi msn is nirgilis_loi@hotmail.com…..bye

okay, thanks!

I didn’t know that Danie is a guy. Thought of him as “she” all this time… hehe

^ lolwut I am a girl. Tho it doesn’t seem really convincing, heh ^^;

*lol* I always though that she was a guy. (Maybe because of these “nosebleed-things” …? XD)
But when I saw these photos, and saw this jacket i thinked “something isn’t right here…This jacket looks like a girls one”
and I read something like “fangirling” finally I saw her animelist-profile, which says ‘female’ xDD

but what I wanted…. why do you have 2 times “the museum” ? O.ô

@NekoTenshi: lol I have 2 Museum because… I have 5 Trickster and 7 Shin Ai? lol nah it’s just I always buy regular edition (thin) too if I think it’s packaged different enough with the first press (thick). :P

okay, i was confused because they looked a bit different. xDD so the first press version looks different ?
