23 December 2010 @ Niigata

Last live and last report of the year!!
I want to make a summary post but I’ve been spending the past 2 days in Disneyland with my family.. all the while queuing while thinking about winter Comiket lol. ;__; Let’s see if I can write it today before going for Kohaku (supporting from outside the hall :3).

Anyway, back to AniDori. It was a solid live!

Before the live… Ura-theme Yukarin ramen!
I arrived at 6am with overnight bus… Niigata had nothing! I walked 30 mins around the station and couldn’t find any net cafe. Meeting my friends around noon to eat Yukarin ramen in Ittouya!!

Yukarin had one during her SCS tour in Niigata! It was delicious for the rather cheap price… that pork slice was huuuge. ^__^ I saw so many Anidori people eating this ramen too lolol.

Entrance.
Very spacey hall, but only 70% used for the concert. About 35 rows to the back, and 100 seats per row. All center block was Girls’ Area, more than 600 girls!! And more girls scattering in general seats too.. maybe about 30% were girls? Obviously thanks to GRANRODEO, though I did see many girls in JAM shirts and a few in Faylan’s (including me lol). Oh, my seat was 1st pre-order lottery for Girls’ Area, so awesomely row 4, in the center!!

As usual for pics, Faylan snapped plenty~!

1. JAM Project x GRANRODEO / SOULTAKER
Too busy jumping I didn’t remember what exactly they wore, but everyone were in black. xD Anidori spoiled collaboration plans beforehand, but didn’t make it any less awesome. Kishow’s voice blend in well with JAM, hot start!

Hashimoto Miyuki (site)

2. Glossy:MMM
3. 未来回帰線 (Mirai Kaikisen)
4. Faze to love

First time seeing Miyuki-chan.. Santa Miyuki too damn cute! I like some of her songs though her good songs are for (ero)ge not animu, so maybe not so well-known internationally? Mirai Kaikisen is <333 Her MC was rather plain tho. ^^;

5. Hashimoto Miyuki x Faylan / 微熱S.O.S!! (Binetsu S.O.S!!)
Feinyan joined in! She wore her pink 1st costume in Polaris live.. leeegs <333 Binetsu is a Miyuki-chan song I like, though I hated the anime it came from (pseudo-IM@S). They’re cute together in MC, though it was more like Feinyan being too rabu-rabu to Miyuki-chan. Oy oy. xD

Faylan

6. Last vision for last
7. 本能のDOUBT (Honnou no DOUBT)
8. mind As Judgement

Basically LisAni setlist (and just 4 days before) so while I totally went crazy, there’s nothing new to write here lol. I noticed fangirls were like, “who?” though I heard “Ero-kakkoii~~~” and “She’s good” murmurs. :3

Yousei Teikoku

9. 鮮血の誓い (Senketsu no Chikai)
10. ザ・クリエーター (The Creator)
11. Baptize
12. Patriot Anthem

Glad I could meet Yui-sama again this year, since she missed Anisama and I missed their solo in September. SOOO happy for MagiPoka OP!! That’s how I discovered them 3-4 years(?) ago! Baptize was damn cool too.

As usual AWSM MC with repeat self-plug of their new album and Yui-sama being herself (in fairy chara). ^^;; She taught us to do Patriot Anthem call: “WE ARE MARTYR. WE ARE BELIEVER. AND WE JUST BELIEVE THE FAIRY.” .. It’s long and hard and especially in English so people were a bit confused.. in the middle of practicing Yui-sama gave up, “Whatever let’s just do half.” ^^;;; But the real thing was great! We did metal hand sign too \m/ I believe the fairy!!

Shiina Hekiru

13. Reincarnation
14. FIGHTING BOY
15. Let me Say YEAH!!!!

First time seeing Hekiru.. I understand why she was the first seiyuu to get Budokan (3 years before Nana!) though strangely rather inactive in the past 3-4 years. No idea about the songs, but powerful voice and stable live performance.. also cute/airhead MC (“Ah. So many girls. You know what, I like girls.” lolwut? xD) and definitely way too cute to be 36. Given more songs I might fall for her :3

BREAK surprisingly 30 mins.. I was expecting 10 lol, besides it was only after 15 songs, not even 2 hours.. but totally understandable after seeing how long the girl’s toilet queue was.. O_o;;

Misato Aki

16. 君が空だった (Kimi ga Sora Datta)
17. 最後のエデン (Saigo no Eden)
18. 僕らの自由 (Bokura no Jiyuu)

I was expecting StoPani, but yuri song fulfilled with KimiSora (ShizNat!!). I like Aki-chan’s husky singing voice, so even I didn’t know her newer Saigo no Eden (no idea MuvLuv is still ongoing lol), I enjoyed it. Also <3 the SuperRobotWars-ish Bokura no Jiyuu too.

GRANRODEO

19. HEAVEN

….totally distracted with 2 fangirls in santa one-piece in front of me doing crazy headbanging. ^^;;;; As expected of the girls, but GRANRODEO has plenty fanboys too. Well, they’re pretty cool with real ani-rock songs.

20. GRANRODEO x Misato Aki / シャニムニ (Shanimuni)～Scarlet Bomb!
Surprise!! Aki-chan joined in after the first verse of Shanimuni. Both are the same song with different lyrics (Scarlet Bomb! is the original NEEDLESS song, then GRANRODEO covered/altered it). Both artists probably did their own lyrics? though I don’t memorize it. ^^; Loved the duet!

21. Infinite Love
22. modern strange cowboy
23. ROSE HIP-BULLET

Back to GRANRODEO solo, they performed all these in Anisama so I could totally enjoy them, especially MS Cowboy! <33 Okay to be honest I bought their albums lol ssshh. xD I didn’t do KII♥YAAAAAA♥N shouts though, believe me! The santa fangirls were still on crack btw.

JAM Project

24. MAXON
25. TRANSFORMERS EVO.
26. レスキューファイアー (Rescue Fire)
27. GONG～SKILL

Everyone in black (pics@blog Makkun, Endoh, Dani). Epic songs one after another.. towel song TRANSFORMERS, my personal fave Rescue Fire too! It was 2 degree cold rainstorm outside the hall, but everyone inside was only raining sweat… too hot! Looooved GONG karaoke (I didn’t realize I memorized it xD) before breaking into THE only way to end a JAM solo… I CAN FRY! HEY! WE CAN FRY! HEY! MOTTO MOTTO!!! ヾ(*≧∀≦*)ﾉ

ENCORE～FINAL MC.
Everyone wore live shirts (JAM in black, girls in white) except Yui-sama who’s still in her full costume.. probably too hard with that gothic get-up? ^^;; Santa Miyuki’s santa-cape moved to Hekiru now. xD Each artists gave a short message, ending with Kageyama thanking us for coming, summarizing how this Christmas eve eve was a success! And promising a successor next year…. XD

28. All Artists / HERO
There’s no Anidori-special song, but didn’t stop them to perform an encore song together with JAM Project’s cheerful HERO! Now I see why some artists were holding papers.. lyrics. ^^; Really funny to see Yui-sama trying to keep her cool fairy image while singing a JAM song. Ending the live with a very good, relaxed feeling! ( ´∀｀ ) Everyone spent some time waving goodbye to fans too.

Impressions.
Can’t help not comparing Anidori with Lisani… for me personally, Anidori definitely won: 3 collaborations out of 7 artists, final MC with final song performed by all artists, a very get-together feel. Maybe unfair to compare them with JAM’s involvement in Anidori. ^^; Shows how different it is when artists produce the event (Anidori) vs. companies (Lisani).

In terms of fans, I realized it’s unavoidable to have fans coming only for certain artists in this kind of event… so there will be non-supporters just spacing out. Though being out-of-nowhere they couldn’t run away in the middle of the live. ^^; I thought most fangirls will only cheer for GRANRODEO, but they showed decent support to everyone.

The only drawback was location.. Niigata isn’t too far but if Anidori gets bigger they might have problems. Hard to think they’ll move since it’s obviously Niigata city tourism plan. Well they haven’t fully utilize this hall yet (max capacity 6000) so it’s too soon to worry.

Great end to 2010. Looking forward to Anidori 2nd ACTION!

I decided to go afterall~ My first Anison SP!!
Couldn’t beat SP3 but it was still great (cuz I was actually there lol)!

Ticket price rocketed on 1st week, but gradually lowered down.. got mine darn cheap since the guy was only looking for 1 girl–name’s written on lottery postcard, to be exchanged with seat numbers on entrance.

(how many times have I said this) my incredible luck got me row 3!! xD I was more to the left, which is even better since they interview artists (won’t be aired) on that side of the stage~ close-up view banzai!!

Before we start.. official photo!

More here. No info yet when it’s going to be aired but prob next year.

During waiting time, DJ played some music to kill time like normal MJ.. but being Anison SP, it was all anison!! Everyone got pumped and went all out with penlights already… great atmosphere to start! In between performers, while staff setting up stage, we get half-a-song too.. even only my railgun once!!

Finally 7.30pm!
MJ producer opening speech.. a funny (and too awesome) old man who even asked us if anyone’s going to Saitama Super Arena tomorrow (majority!! LOL) and also who’s on for Budokan tomorrow (Sphere.. not as many lol).

Then MC came up on stage side to greet us~ “Let’s start with a collaboration! It’s their first duet..” and most could guess who and who!

*Songs marked red will get aired first, before full version.

Mizuki Nana x May’n
1. ETERNAL BLAZE
2. ダイアモンドクレバス (Diamond Crevasse)

NANA-CHAAAAAAAN!!! My goddess looking damn awesome on that black/red one-piece!! May’n entered next on a glittery white outfit (as usual, shows her legs well). And woaaah, it’s THAT song afterall!! Eternal Blaze was pretty balanced, both kept their singing style but harmonized well.. everyone was too busy HEY-HEY-ing to listen properly anyway. xD MC was short, but Nana said she wants to sing May’n song too.. and by “next time” she meant now. ^^;;; Diamond Crevasse was a great choice. Nana’s powerful voice.. the great Kanno song.. I almost shed a tear.

Moving to stage-side for off-air interview.
May’n confessed she always sings Nana’s songs in karaoke so it felt like a dream to actually perform with THE Nana-sama. xD I used to be indifferent about May’n but I always respect someone who could sing Nana songs.. ♥ up!!

May’n
3. もしも君が願うのなら (Moshimo Kimi ga Negau no Nara)
4. ノーザンクロス (Northern Cross)
Luxury stage set with strings group and piano. First live version of her upcoming single Moshimo Kimi ga Negau no Nara (Valkyria Chronicle 3). Pretty good ballad! May’n MC regarding her recent trip to Singapore, but nothing on AFA, just about food and recommended roti prata (lol isn’t that Indian). During MC stage was cleared, then 4 dancers joined in for Northern Cross!! Been a while since I heard it live~♪

Kudou Mayu
5. Tomorrow’s Song～あしたのうた～ (Ashita no Uta)
6. ハートキャッチ☆パラダイス！ (Heart Catch Paradise)
Nana reappeared on side-stage so we all thought there’d be another Cure Nana song.. but she only introduced Precure. ^^; Nana did Blossom’s transformation voice before leaving stage though!! Too bad this will get cut. :-/

..aaaand PURIKYUA KITAAAAAAA~~!! Mayu-chan had twintails (usually ponytail)! I took out pink light and Cure Blossom mini plushie! xD Guests are 4 Cure anigao!! Not only the usual Blossom and Marin, but also Sunshine and Moonlight!! Clapped for Ashita no Uta and danced with all my power for Heart Catch Paradise!!

Pico
7. Story
8. 勿忘草 (Wasuregusa)
Popular NicoDou-singer-turned-big. His voice is so high it sounds like a girl’s… he can do pretty low too though. Story was not bad, but loved Wasuregusa! Haven’t seen Tegamibachi yet but it’s a good song. Pico’s somewhat cute, but his band members are all ikemen ♥

Girls Dead Monster
9. Alchemy (marina)
10. Day Game (LiSa)
11. Crow Song (marina + LiSa)
Uoooo GirlDemo!! Liked them after Anisama. Fans response was crazy (Angel Beats! is damn famous). marina performed first with Alchemy.. she did a mistake near the end of the song, being NHK that was NG so she had to redo it ^^; Ganbatte~~! I like marina’s voice more than LiSa (well Iwasawa was the best AB!chara imo) but gotta admit LiSa is soooo charming ahaha sorry erojiji orz. LiSa was SO high doing newest single Day Game she kinda reminded me of Hirano Aya, in a good way. Last song was what everyone waited for.. Crow Song!! Sing-along chorus FTW!

ALI PROJECT
12. 聖少女領域 (Seishoujo Ryouiki)
13. 亡國覚醒カタルシス (Boukoku Kakusei Catharsis)
Epic bird-cage costume and woah that hair… properly girl-screamed “ARIKA-SAMAAAAA!!” lol. Not sure if I had made it clear before or not, but I LIKE ALIPRO! I don’t rly fancy their newer stuff but was a fan during their .hack/Rozen era (yes bought CD) so how glad I was to hear Seishoujo Ryouiki (Rozen) and Catharsis (hack), 2 of my faves!! Drag queen dancers joined in for Catharsis.. lol no wonder it doesn’t get aired in normal NHK. ^^;;; MC was funny: Arika-sama said anison is supposed to cheer people up.. before apologizing for only having gloomy songs LOL.

JAM Project
14. MAXON
15. GONG
Started with side-stage interview, but only Kageyama talked. Mostly about their world tour and stuff.. I was focusing on Makkun sorry. xD Kicking off with newest single MAXON.. lately their songs get more fast-paced which I don’t really get why? ^^; then everyone’s favorite hot-blooded GONG!! I swear it felt like summer inside… or JAM just burned our soul to the max!

Mizuki Nana
16. 十字架のスプレッド (Juujika no Spread)
17. NEXT ARCADIA
NANAAAAAAAAA!!! Kyakyakya!! That outer-space silver costume gave me this strong “I’VE SEEN THAT BEFORE” feeling.. she wore similar outfit pretty often afaik (Universe/first, Formula/dance, Livedom/WildEyes) but apparently it’s from first Anisama (thanks Hei-chan!).

Nana always appears in MJ every new single so I wondered what she’d sing.. somehow we got the very anison, very Nana-ish, very out-of-nowhere Juujika no Spread!! FINALLY ♥ After MC, my-dream-came-true NEXT ARCADIA!! Possibly my Nana song of the year~ Just can’t get enough of it. Too bad most people used UO out of tension.. it’s a blue song!! >_<

Nana’s MC got interesting after someone started the habitual “Turn around!” chant. New trend since Live Games, instead of turning we get live Cure Blossom!! First was Blossom’s line before special move.. then people chanted “Once more!!”.. so we got OSHIRI PUNCH!!! LOLOL I really doubt this will pass into national TV… ^^;;;;

After Nana left stage.. it’s not over yet!
DJ’s last attempt to kill us all, full Zankoku na Tenshi no These! Haha great choice though I was praying for more fripSide or even Yukarin. xD

FINISHED~~~ about 9.45pm
Much better than I had expected. Couldn’t believe I thought it was OK to miss this just because there’s Riripa tomorrow.. From now on I’ll just appear in every single Nana thing (eh isn’t it what I’m doing now lol) without any hesitation!

…

Also met up with Hongkong Nanatard Hei-chan~♥ really dedicated fangirl with yeaaaars of experience! Got introduced to a big group of Japanese fans (one of them even knows my blog! 感動したありがとう！) then nice Okinawa-style udon.. and go home to prepare for tomorrow’s Lyrical Party IV!! …though I think some went to queue for goods lol~

More Nana-chan tomorrow!!! And my princess Yukarin~!!

Good night!

I’m not going to write a lot (LOL) since there are those who already did much better reviews (and pretty much similar to my opinion), but well, just thought I’d post the poster and rant a bit before I start drooling over Minorin’s Live DVD. On to the track list..

01. TRUST (Kuribayashi Minami)
Couldn’t think of any better song that suits Minami more than TRUST. One of my favorite in this album.

02. Rinbu Revolution (Chihara Minori)
Call me trolling, but I’ve hated this song since I first heard it in Minorin’s radio last week. It’s so bland I couldn’t believe this is my favorite Makkun song. I guess it’s the weird arrangement or my expectation was too high, but I wouldn’t replace Shimokawa Mikuni’s cover in my Ipod for this.

03. Jounetsu (Misato Aki)
I feel alive again hearing this right after Minorin’s Rinbu Revolution. Loved the original, and while Misato took the song differently, I like her version too.

04. INTRODUCTION (Endoh Masaaki)
All hail the rocker, I want zero-G- from him!

05. Olive (Ishida Yoko)
I have to agree that this song sounds very weak. Maybe I should stop comparing, but it’s really a pity since I actually like Ishida’s sweet voice. She should have done something like, er, My Jolly Days?

06. Iiwake (Suara)
Hands down to the best track of this album. I was tempted to download the flac yesterday for this song, but my patience paid off the minute I heard Suara’s pure voice. m(_ _)m

07. Otomegokoro Mugen (Ohmi Tomoe)
It wasn’t bad, but nothing outstanding too.. a bit unlucky heh, positioned between heavenly Iiwake and awesome Koishimasho Nebarimasho.

08. Koishimasho Nebarimasho (Momoi Halko)
Momoi is always awesome in doing cover songs. Her version of Yuzurenai Negai is the best I’ve heard, and Hirano Aya should be ashamed if she ever listened to Momoi’s rendition of God Knows. Following her trend, this track was really good, I even forgot this was a Makkun song. #2 best track after Iiwake.

09. Wasuregusa (Kageyama Hironobu)
A sentimental song that easily became one of my favorite in Masami Life, and while I think Kageyama is a fine singer, I didn’t really like his version of Wasuregusa.. maybe because I’m a bit attached to this song (i.e. looping it too many times) so I can only accept Makkun’s voice.. oh well.

10. HAPPY PLACE (Yonekura Chihiro)
She sounds like Makkun the most from everyone in this album, in a good way, too. And oh, in the end I didn’t buy Ever After, it got too many of her own songs for a cover album.

…and that was quite a lot of ramblings. ^^; Anyway, I wish there were more tracks in this CD.. 3150yen for 10 songs is a bit pricey –heck it was worthy– but extra songs from Mizuki Nana, Hayashibara Megumi, or Shimokawa Mikuni won’t hurt.
