Minorin vs. Nana

..hmm trying not to be biased.
Hair & Make-up: Nana.
ZOMG ASTROGATION HAIR DROOOOOOL. Nana rarely does a straight hair so this was really refreshing. Minorin’s hair was fine, but her make-up was a bit too heavy and dark..
Costume: draw.
Minorin’s is too flashy. Nana’s has too much lace. Both show enough skin (lol), but nah no real preference. But yeah lol Minorin for wearing the skirt she wore in Daicon
Collaboration: Minorin.
Yes she wins cos Hocchan+Minorin’s Happy Material was just VERY surprising and perfectly done. Nana has more duets, but Shin Ai started off with some technical problem, and don’t get me started with the Chulu tragedy.
MC: Minorin.
Minorin as always put more of herself and fans into her talk and that makes it more meaningful. Nana’s was professional so it was just.. okay.
Solo Performance: Nana.
Minorin’s setlist was totally predictable. Nana really blew me away with the good surprise that is Etsuraku Camellia.. so yeah the impact was different.

ELISA vs. Faylan

Two newcomers, great songs, potential voice, totally different impact.
Hair & Make-up: ELISA
ELISA was a stunning beauty, while still looking natural (or I was just blinded by her porcelain skin). Faylan’s heavy make-up scared the crap outta me. Probably that was the point, but I still think the red lipstick was unnecessary.
Costume: Faylan
No, not because of the legs. I actually think both wore dresses that reflect their image well, so it’s just a matter of preference. ELISA looked like a fragile, pretty ghost.. while Faylan looked like a dominatrix, so she wins. *runs*
MC: draw.
Both MC were memorable. ELISA grabbed attention with the “call my name” thing without turning to an attention whore. But Faylan and her rabu-rabu yuri message to Sato Hiromi deserves a credit too. xD
Solo performance: Faylan
ELISA is a decent singer, but Faylan can really rock. I believe there were lots of people turned yuri fan after seeing her live. She was lively, intense, and overall very impressive.

I told you she looked like some batshit insane character from Higurashi (yes pun intended).

Yes THIS wins so much that I feel the need to post it twice, though it’s a bit unfair of me to rate it. xD Anyway, here goes the real list:

..lol sad joke. But yes that was undeniably one of the most jaw-dropping moments. Couldn’t help it.

#2 Kurinoco looking totally hot again <3

No moar dumpling! Just a few hours before I thought I was turning normal for fangirling Kishow, but I totally ignored him during his duet with Kurinoco. ^^;

Anisama Goods Set A, which is a pretty good deal for 10,000 yen:
- Eco-bag, looks crappy but pretty strong.
- Black towel.. sold out in the first day.
- The fan thing that nobody used cos it might break easily.
- Anisama wristbands for both hands.
- Orange wrist lights, which I didn’t use cos I’ve got my awsm sticks.
- Pamphlet, which is pretty boring cos they just put the most current official pics.
- Orange shirt, my preference over the two designs (and Nana wore it in encore!).

- Arika’s doll is so cute! Why can’t see bring lolitas on stage instead of the traps?

- Aww, that’s a pretty cute version of Minorin. No comment on her usual alien font.

Day 2.
- Oh yeah, GACKT is also an ancient being, hence the caligraphy.

- The contrast between Yui-nyan and Suara is awsm lol.

Probably the coolest Yui-nyan act ever! Bonus DVD is a secret live cosplaying as the smexy Ayase from rock band FES (from Chäos;HEAd animu).

2. Nico Nico Douga Selection ~Sainou no Mudazukai~ (CD) (buy)
Literally means ~Wasting Talent~ lolol. The only reason why I bought this retarded CD is obviously track 13 JAM Project / Omoide wa Okkusenman!! I suppose this is because of the immensely mind-blowing Anisama 2008 top batter. The CD version is even better with Makkun!

3. Horie Yui / Honey Jet!! (CD) (buy)
Not all that good, but enjoyable for a fan of Hocchan’s sweet voice, especially that track with full Engrish lyrics. Okay to be honest I just want the awsm poster (pics below).

4. Faylan / mind as Judgment (CD) (buy)
Seems that everyone fell in love with this hawt newcomer lol. Screw Gamers for giving me Canaan postcard, I want a Faylan photo! Just look at that back CD cover~ xD ..hmm she can make a good Alphard.. *runs*

5. Okui Masami feat. May’n / Miracle Upper WL (CD) (buy)
To be honest, I really love this. Ok, maybe 90% because of the amazing PV and the fact I saw it live. They really look like sisters (..I would have said mother-daughter, but one looks too young and the other looks too old..). I want the PV~!!

6. Agematsu Mika / Best (CD) (buy)
Yes bought for the harp version of Super Generation. Don’t look at me like that. xD

Love the song tho I never bothered to watch Pandora Hearts.

Been forgetting to buy this since it came out early this year. Finally bought it.. and hey, I got two postcards. I shall look at them everyday to remember the girls’ names. So that cute girl is Kaori.. hmmm.

9. Okui Masami / Self Satisfaction (CD) (buy)
Title is LOL but somewhat appropriate. She covers the songs that she previously arranged for other singers.. and while I only heard half of the original versions, I must say Makkun’s versions are mostly stronger and better.

10. Suara / adamant faith (CD) (buy)
I got two bonus cos my friend didn’t want his. The 2nd photo is so funny, it took me couple of minutes to find Suara amongst the trees. She blends in! *runs* adamant faith sounds like a lesser Musouka (glad she didn’t sing this in Anisama), but the ballad c/w is instant love.

11. Suara / Kizuna (CD) (buy)
Eh.. I haven’t really listened to the CD.. but so far I like it better than Taiyou to Tsuki. As usual I have no complaints on Suara’s voice and skill. Kizuna is way more lively with more variants for her to explore, tho the CD cover continues to be boooooring (isn’t that just a new Amaneuta cover or what?)

12. m.o.v.e / Anim.o.v.e01 (CD+DVD) (buy)
AWSM version of Sousei no Aquarion (omfg yuri) made me buy this. Another better God Knows version won’t hurt also. xD The DVD features footage of the last live of m.o.v.e with t-kimura, who will focus on production and not performing on stage anymore.

13. Momoi Halko / Ai no Medicine ~Anisama Version~ (CD)
New version of Momoi’s debut song that was also performed in Anisama. Compared to the original, it’s more lively and Momoi’s vocal definitely improved over the year. Mugi mugi~~♪ The c/w track “Galge” is a nice surprise too, it’s a catchy Akibapop song that was featured in a Wii game a while back.

This thing is DAMN HEAVY like srsly torturing to carry this around (and I had to buy multiple copies for other people $@!#!). The photo is its Gamers store bonus.

..the alternate cover doesn’t help the hideous rooster costume. I must say I’m disappointed with the lack of audience sound during the concert, so what’s the difference of watching this and listening to the CD?

Crow costume is even scarier. Price freaking kills, tho I still dislike the concert part for the stated reason above. Bought anyway cos of the drool-worthy Message 2.5 – 2 hours documentation of the live rehearsals and tours. I wonder if I should review this for those who don’t have Bluray players? Hmm..

… times three. GEE I WONDER WHY. So yeah I own 4 in total, with the 1st one I bought online. The delicious big thing is the LP cover from Gamers, also bonus photo.

Haven’t watched it yet. Really an impulsive purchase. I guess that’s the effect of hearing the live version of Yubiwa.

6. Tamura Yukari  / Dreamy Maple Crown (BD) (buy)
SOOO awesome in big screen and 5.1 speakers. Now THIS is a real live concert (yes I’m looking at you Parade). I wanted to review this but always got carried away watching it. The videos are up in Youtube anyway so no point. Lemme just say, Yukarin IS  a cult.

7. Okui Masami / GIGS 2007 Masami Life (DVD)
Also haven’t watched. Bought cos GIGS DVDs are pretty hard to get lol.

Obviously I started the show with good mood, though my body was aching.

My seat is more or less the same with Day 1. The artists were introduced on screen in the same way with Day 1. There were more loud cheers cos this is the maniac day.. with Yuinyan, Chihi, FictionJunction, Makkun, Idolm@ster, Hirano, Gackt, and of course Yukarin and Nana.

The show kicked in with another familiar tune that made the crowd went crazy and shout..

Yeah ok, I know a lot of people are waiting for my response over the duet.

Honestly, after the first CHULU shout, I thought it was Yukarin in the pink costume. I didn’t pay attention when they walked down the stairs cos I was fixated at Nana’s yellow dress.. then the duet partner started singing and I screamed in despair. Who the fark sing DISCOTHEQUE in (fake) vibrato?! The medley continues with MonStAR which isn’t bad but srsly who cares. If it’s something with King /Lantis trying to collaborate.. yes thanks for Hocchan + Minorin in day 1, but FFFF this one.

Oh, but I’m relieved I couldn’t find any pic of Nana + Aya together in any blog.. while the other duets are busy fawning to each other, lolol. Probably it was suffering for them too.

Hirano Aya
I sat down, recovering from the shock.. in a totally opposite way with Day 1′s Happy Material recovery. Of course Aya sang Super Driver, while jumping around in silver straps around her chest (that I wished would fall off or whut). According to j1m0ne, she danced like Britney Spears before singing Set me free. I wouldn’t know cos I was running to the toilet lol srs.

Yonekura Chihiro

The shock was still there, so I couldn’t enjoy Chihi. It’s really a pity cos I love Yakusoku no Basho e. I also missed her entire MC and was blur during 10 YEARS AFTER that I also love. Fark it lah.

Sakakibara Yui

Soshite Boku wa.. put my broken pieces together. Yuinyan is hawwwttt yeah. I was afraid she would sing Beautiful Days next (I hate it) but of course she sang Koi no Honoo. It’s my first time seeing her live, and I loved it! The girl can sing and dance!

Yousei Teikoku
Now I know why the people around me were preparing red lights. Tamakui and last Moment was impressive.. I was awed with Fairy Yui’s awsm gothic dress. Her MC is so amusing.. I love how she tried to be all gloomy, but ended up being moe. ^^; j1m0ne covered their MC on her Anisama post.. and that guy with orange sticks she mentioned sat few seats in front of me lolol. Ah, I just pray they won’t turn into ALI Project in the future.

Ohtsuki Kenji & Zetsubou-shoujotachi

Bure bure bure bure! Hitotoshite Jiku ga Bureteiru was perfect to erase my sorrow that Marina wasn’t there. Oh actually I forgot it already since Yuu-tan entered the stage in that shoooort yukata. Yay for my fave SZS song Kuusou Rumba too, rumba rumba rumba! I totally forgot to look at Miyukichi, and just had quick glances on Ryoko-chan and Aipon.. cos Yuu-tan was srsbznz crazy on stage, like a gorilla on acid. The despair group ended the show with Ringo Mogire Beam!

Kageyama Hironobu

Chourou~~!! chants were all over the hall when Kageyama went up stage with a guitar.. and performed CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA acoustically! As seen in the pic, nobody (that’s my area) sat down.. we even sang along! I’m sure lots of the audience grew up with that song. The ever powerful SOLDIER DREAM also brings back good memories.

FictionJunction

When I saw the staff lined up 4 microphone stands and a keyboard, I could guess who’s coming. Parallel Hearts was perfect.. the way Kajiura played the keyboard reminded me heavily of Kanno Yoko.. looking as if they’re possessed lol. After the song, they left the stage which disappointed everyone (only one song?!).. before a familiar intro of Akatsuki no Kuruma slowly kicked in. Secret guest YUUKA popped up the round stage and sang acapella. There’s one FJ on stage backing up the vocal but I still can’t tell who’s who lol. The set ended with full blown version of nowhere that is much superior than last year.

Ohmi Tomoe
She actually has a soothing voice, but boring, so I took the chance to sit down for the first time of the day. I’d prefer beloved, but Return to Love was fine. I’m sure most people recognised her as “the cute girl in Anisama channel”, since she and Aa hosted the weekly Anisama STATION in Nico.

savage genius (feat. Ohmi Tomoe)

Maze lit up the hall with excitement, I love the song and obviously Aa’s voice. Just like ELISA in Day 1, she wanted the crowd to call her name “A~a~chan”.. and since she has more fans, I think she got it louder than ELISA lol. She ended with Watashi o Mitsukete, which I still think doesn’t match Aa-chan’s enchanting voice.

Faylan

Ok by this point I really regret for not preparing red lights, cos obviously people around me did, orz. Dark Side of the Light was a great opening, but mind as Judgment was mind-blowing. Respect point +100, since she obviously was nervous, being a newcomer and gotta perform in a superb stage. She seems so pretty interesting, keep mentioning the director in her MC (“Can you see me, director?” *waves*).. then j1m0ne told me the director is the hawt Sato Hiromi.. and the pic above also was stolen from the director’s blog. Yu-yu-yuri?! *runs* xD

Okui Masami + Faylan
ZOMG. Tamashii no Rufuran is my favourite song from Masami Kobushi (the old Makkun cover album that prob nobody knows)! To hear this live is.. just.. too much.. *faints* Probably the same feeling Faylan had when she was given the job to pull the song with Makkun lol. She did really well btw.

Okui Masami
Ah, LOVE SHIELD is a typical Makkun song, energetic and powerful. I wish she would sing more songs.

Suara
Oooohh Maiochiru Yuki no You ni! Glad I had extra white lights for this.. snow was fallin’ on the big screen, adding more emotional touch to the ballad.. me likes. <3 Free and Dream surprised me, cos she moved (THE TREE MOVED!!) around and the crowd can actually did otagei for a Suara song!

Tamura Yukari + Shintani Ryoko

I was really O___O when I saw Ryoko-chan popped up from my side and Yukarin on the other~!! and and and it’s… DANZEN! Futari wa Precure!! I totally forgot my leg pain and jumped like no tomorrow. Ryoko-chan and Yukarin were Cure Black and Cure White respectively, and they precured me.. puri kyua puri kyua (what Nana+who duet again? XD) puri kyua .. futari wa .. puri kyuuaaaa~!!

Psychic Lover
Poor YOFFY and IMAJO only got to sing LOST IN SPACE.. I wonder why.

THE IDOLM@STER

AAAAHHH IT’S IM@S TIME~~!! lol yes I’m a huge Im@s retard despite only owning the PSP game (and countless CD). THE IDOLM@STER was great cos of the excitement looking at the costume they wore.. it’s the latest tour costume.. with legsssss!! Each of them occupied one area of the walkway stage. I couldn’t be happier when Mingos just happened to be right in front of me! *nosebleeds* xD Kiramekirari (zutto chu tto~♪) had THE cutest dance. Eririn definitely improved.. and Maya is just sooo cute. my song wasn’t too good with the line-up (unless they got Chiaking).. and where’s my arcadia. I hope this time they get into the bluray, please.

m.o.v.e
Once again motsu entered the stage in the unicycle! Finally they sang something other than Gamble Rumble. We got DOGFIGHT and Blazin’ Beat medley. Pretty awsm choice, but srsly anything goes if that keeps yuri in yukata on stage. By this point I realised how Anisama Day 2 turned me gay lol. They advertised anim.o.v.e01 (the anime cover album) and chose to sing Gravity from the album as m.o.e.v (Lucky Star).

Tamura Yukari
Surely there’s no rest cos Yukarin popped out with Chelsea Girl! She’s really made of cutesy, so I was a bit let down that Tomorrow was the 2nd song, tho expected. She was on crack as always for the MC, asking stupid things about the crowd’s age. Yukari-hime clearly trolled us with NO MERON and NO METAL! That struck me so much that I couldn’t give my all for Little Wish.

GACKT
I kept track of who performed before (OK actually I just looked at the Anisama shirt in front of me) and I know it’s only GACKT and Nana left.. so I chose to sit down and massage my legs during his performance (and he was like, singing right to my face LOL, where Mingos performed before). He did Ai Senshi, The Next Decade, and REDEMPTION.. not like I really know those lol.

Mizuki Nana + motsu (m.ov.e)

When motsu started rapping, I seriously didn’t expect that Nana will follow-up with Gimmick Game! The diet song is back~! How I miss that Gimige dance. And that costume is just $!@#!#@!#!

Mizuki Nana + Suara

A very special Anisama version of Shin Ai indeed.. the sound was screwed for the first two lines, but it was utterly stunning afterward. For a second I looked back and the mix of white and blue lights were sooo beautiful. With these two extra Nana duet, srsly who remembers the first one? xD

Only Yukarin and Nana can perform in an anison concert, with more than half of the set are NOT anison, yet the crowd seemed to know the songs better than random anison. So yeah, we got Etsuraku Camellia and (HELL YES!!!) Orchestral Fantasia. My Fenix lights were burning on my hands but it didn’t stop me from cheering for Nana!

All performers
I was wishing Nana would sing just one more song.. but the artists were already running up stage lol. Right, I dunno how I managed to (barely) jump for RE:BRIDGE cos I could feel my leg muscles were complaining. I couldn’t do the encore shouts like Day 1 lol.

Encore
They finally sang ONENESS. Same old thing for the talk with member intro and crap. Silly things I noticed:
- Otsuki Kenji and the girls went home *sobs*.. uh, Gackt also (he’s like, just performed less than an hour before?).
- It’s hard to stare at Nana without staring at Aya too, cos she’s right next to Nana.
- Fairy Yui twisted her tounge lolol moeee.
- Yuinyan hijacked Aa-chan’s turn to intro her dancers.. that’s normal, but then Yuinyan kept hugging Aa-chan to apologise and that looked fun… T_T

- Aya teared her Anisama shirt and made it off-shoulder.. but failed to look as hawt as Yuinyan.
- Everyone asked Nana to do the last jump, but the lady kept refusing to do it alone.. somehow it ended up being Makkun, Nana, and Hirano Aya. Dot dot dot.

After encore
Instrumental version of Yells again. I was the only one with Nana shirt around my area, my traffic lights were sooo bright.. Nana spotted me (if I wasn’t being delusional). Well, she smiled and did two peace signs to my area.. and that made this crazy weekend trip worthwhile! The rest seemed a bit blurry to me.. I think I got Makkun (again), Mingos, Suara, yuri (who threw her towel to the audience WTF$#!@#!).. uh not sure who else. Totally missed Yukarin and Faylan orz.

I did some rushed shopping in Akiba, and only entered Saitama Super Arena just 30 minutes before the show starts. Oh btw my seat is really awesome, in a way that I got a very close look to the middle platform and the pathway, while being much cheaper than I expected.

The show begins with intro to all artists, only their pics on screen tho.. the crowd was being nice (or just generally hyped) by cheering to all of them, with occasional crazy LOUD cheers for the likes of Momoi, Hocchan, Kurinoko, May’n, angela, Mamoru, and especially Minorin and JAM~

When the crowd was still cheering, a very familiar verse kicked in..

angela + Ishikawa Chiaki

“Zankoku na tenshi no you ni..” and the arena exploded in excitement! Two of the most distinct and powerful voices sang the most recognisable anime song.. what an unexpected, mind-blowing top batter~! After a short MC and BIG grins for successfully surprised us with Cruel Angel Thesis, Ishikawa left the stage.

angela
angela being the usual loads of fun they are, taught the crowd a simple otagei movement for Spiral (mostly rolling hands in the air), making the song much more enjoyable than it already is. Shangri-La is different from last year’s Domestic Love Band version, but still awsm.

Itou Kanako

..entered the stage in the dark, but from my seat I could see a thin figure with scary wig and srsly thought it was Arika, before F.D.D started to play and I realised that it’s just Itou Kanako in a scary under-nourished parrot get-up.. too bad she only put up the encore pics. She’s really good live, though, and I yay Tsuisou no Despair!

Momoi Halko
Anisama version of Ai no Medicine! How I love Komugi-chan and the wotagei calls. She takes the theme “RE:BRIDGE” seriously, like how Ai no Medicine is very special to her, being her first tie-in back in year 2000.. so the 2nd song is special too, the song she performed in her first Anisama in 2007, which is also my #1 favourite Momoi song.. WONDER MOMO-i~!!! Kyaaaaa.

manzo + Momoi Halko
Manzo wore a real tuxedo suit that made him look like, more or less, a penguin. My Pace Daioh couldn’t get any more better when Momoi appears with her signature keyboard-guitar! Oy oy oy!

After finished with Mizonokuchi Taiyou Zoku, he announced that there will be a sequel of the Sunred show, and that he recorded the 2nd OP too. He said how the crew came up with super creative name: Zoku (sequel) Mizonokuchi Taiyou Zoku (group) LOL!

Ayane

..is MUCH cuter in real life than I thought. I love her smile. <3 The 4 people to my right are hardcore Ayane fans, especially the girl with a glowing head cos she wore the lightstick belt on her head. Endless Tears… was good, but Complex Image was special with famous composer Shikura Chiyomaru joined on stage! He’s unexpectedly young and good-looking btw.

ELISA
Wonder Wind got everyone excited, but I was busy drooling to her flawless fair skin *runs*. Her MC is amusing in a way, she wants to hear the crowd call her name.. I’m not sure if most audience knew who she is, but being a good ossan everyone was, she got an awsmly loud “E~~LI~~SA~~” that brought tears to her eyes. ebullient future was different with acoustic Japanese verse before going in the actual song.

Shimoda Asami

As expected she only performed one song. And no MC argh!! I wished it would be Rin Rin Signal but well Kokoro is pretty good too. The dance was a bit weird but Capybara sang pretty well, considering it’s hard to imitate a Vocaloid.

Hatsune Miku

That’s how they emulate her, tho I’m pretty sure people have seen the official Nico recording. Despite being totally virtual, the audience responded really good to Miku Miku ni Shite Ageru ♪ The Black Rock Shooter animation was totally an obvious promotion, I wonder how much they sponsored Anisama lol.

Beat Mario (COOL&CREATE)

Glad they sung the only Touhou song I know (and like): Help me, ERINNNNNN!! The calls are really fun (Erin Erin! Oppai oppai! Oppai Erin! xD) and I respect Beat Mario for not being nervous in front of that many people. And he is kinda cute with his rabbit teeth lolol.

GRANRODEO

For once I became a normal fangirl. Kiiyan is seeew hawt~~ XD They really rocked, earning them both fangirls and fanboys. tRANCE rocked, and modern strange cowboy rocked even more!

Horie Yui
..appeared from the left side of the hall in a carriage, singing JET!! all the way to the stage, in a very cute red mini dress.. before switching to Vanilla Salt after 2~3 minutes. She did the Perfume-ish hands movement like in the PV. And if you think that will kill you, PFFTTT. After the song, more dancers joined in carrying pompoms (one extra pompom for Hocchan).. and she performed YAHHO!! exactly like the PV, which by the way was playing on the big screen. I wished I had more than 2 eyes. ZOMG MOE OVERLOAD.

She talked a bit for the MC (while I was wiping blood from my nose).. she gave us the biggest shock of the day! (If you heard a looooud girl scream in the DVD/BD later, that would be me).

Horie Yui + Chihara Minori

!@#!#@!$!@#!#! HAPPY☆MATERIAL was really, really, really $@!#!!$!@#! mind-blasting / breath-taking / heart-stopping / just-name-it. In short I dunno how I survived. I bet townberry would be dead if she was there.

Ishikawa Chiaki

I’m really sorry but I don’t think I already recovered during her performance. I don’t really fancy First Pain honestly, and I’ve heard Prototype live last year.. so yeah back to recovering from the previous blast.

Miyano Mamoru

Must say he danced pretty well, and J☆S isn’t too gay, but the actual highlight for me was the fangirls sitting behind me. I told you my seat was so good that Miyano WINKED to the girls behind me during Discovery LOL. You bet they really cried. ^^;

May’n

Let’s say I saw her too many times (4 concerts in 1 year WTF) that I didn’t get really hyped up anymore. I enjoyed Kimi Shinitamou Koto Nakare and Diamond Crevasse, though. But what I was really waiting for was..

May’n + Okui Masami
Kyaa~~ Miracle Upper WL! Well for once I’m a huuuge Makkun fangirl, and this song really rocks. The PV was playing in the background.. and gawd I would so buy that PV, Makkun looks so so so hawt. I think I mentioned before that Makkun and May’n look a bit similar, like sisters? or mother-and-daughter? lolol.

Nakagawa Shoko

Unexpectedly pretty good live, since I watched a TV live of her before and that sucked balls.. or probably it’s just Sorairo Days that rocked. Her MC is pretty funny, a staff gave her a mobile phone, and she took pic with the crowd for her super-blog.. which, as you can see, is made of fail lol. Namida no Tane, Egao no Hana was okay, tho I think she should just stop after Sorairo Days lol.

Kuribayashi Minami + Taniyama Kishow
..appeared out of nowhere with the classic Bakuretsu Hunters song WHAT’S UP GUYS? and heck they were really great. Kishow and Kurinoko looked really hawt together~ Too bad I can’t find any pic of Kurinoko cos srsly I was reminded of her best days.

ALI PROJECT

..lol just kidding. I’m glad they didn’t sing the freaking SoraKake song. Arika’s wig scared me srsly, it was fan-shaped and 3 times bigger than her head that I can’t see Mikiya behind her. Kitei no Tsurugi was performed without the Alipon traps, but my joy ended when Senritsu no Kodomotachi kicked in.. and I saw suspiciously tall & scary white curtain thingy swaying around. The white curtains fell off.. and it’s Alipon carrying umbrella WTF. And Jigoku no Mon scarred me forever cos one of the Alipon licked his/her/its lips at me arggghh.

Chihara Minori

Oooh. I have Minorin overload too this year lol. I grew to like Voyager train a lot more after Daicon (ahem).. and I like how excited and happy she was during Tomorrow’s chance, as opposed to her usually popular but gloomy songs. Her MC was unexpectedly serious, about how she evolved since the last Anisama, with CD+DVD releases, first anime tie-in, various concerts, and also performing in Malaysia. Lots of great encounters and fan supports that she’s really thankful of, and then she bowed to the crowd. Minorin then ended her part with Paradise Lost, which was as powerful as always.

Kuribayashi Minami
Kurinoko performed Precious Memories just like she did in the first Anisama 5 years ago.. which was great, but I was busy complaining why the heck she changed the costume. To illustrate it, if last year she looked like a dumpling, this year she was an eggplant! Gargggh. It was a purple mini dress with huge yukata ribbon on the back. But she made it up with singing one of my favourite eroge ballad that brought tears to my eyes before: Namida no Riyuu, which was utterly beautiful. She mentioned how this year’s Anisama is really special for her, since she composed the theme song. She closed with sympathizer, tho I hoped for Miracle Fly.

JAM Project

Obviously the biggest deal of the day! Finally I get to enjoy the full awsmness of JAM Project. They performed most of their new singles, starting from Crest of Z’s, Shugojin -the guardian-.. and of course the new “motto motto song” RESCUE FIRE! I had no idea how they survived in the black leather jacket get-up though, cos the arena was totally burning on fire. And as expected, there’s no Anisama without SKILL! WE CAN FLY!

All performers
I enjoyed RE:BRIDGE much much more live. If anyone should complain, it would be my body. The usual Anisama theme is laid-back and everyone sing along while waving hands to the rhythm.. not like, otagei-ing with ultra orange sticks on hands.

Encore
Mostly wore the black Anisama shirt, tho quite a number of them wore orange. OUTRIDE was unexpected, I thought Yells would make much more sense. Some things I randomly noticed:
- Shoko-tan went home, and now that I think about it I don’t remember if manzo was still there lolol.
- Itou Kanako was notably scary, still having the scary hairstyle, dancing like some ancient Japanese ghost with the orange Anisama handheld fan.
- Minorin and Hocchan were sooooo friendly, sharing the mic and smiling to each other all the time.
- Hocchan took over Nana’s parts for the two songs again, like last year. <3
The individual MC was pretty generic, mostly just introduction to band members and gratitude.. and lots lots of fan screams.

After-encore
Instrumental version of Yells～It’s a beautiful life～ accompanied them walking around the stage.. thanks to my awsm seat, I got direct contact with most of them~ <3 the Miyano fans behind me started to hyperventilate again lol. Makkun said thank you to my side.. Asapon repeatedly doing her moe “Gambarimasu!”.. angela and GRANRODEO doing the metal hand-signs.. Momoi being hyperactive.. those was the times I couldn’t tell what’s real anymore lolol.

Anisama 2009 Day 1 was a blast! I had a good night sleep with broken bones and high expectations on the greatness of Anisama Day 2~ which probably had some unexpected turns of events. So yeah, until the next report~

I wasn’t talking too much about it cos I wasn’t sure whether I will be going or not.. so talking about it might hurt my delicate heart (lol). But anyway now that I’m really going, let’s talk about it! *runs*

This year, Anisama signed up a LOT of artists.. about 3~4 more than last year. Some of the song choices are really obvious, but the fun part lies on the “dreamy duets”, which is obviously one of Anisama’s strong points. I personally counted my predictions and they sum up to about 45~ songs.. as opposed to last year’s 40~ songs. I sure need some extra energy lol.

The list below was posted by someone in 2ch, acknowledging it as a “leak”.. nobody knows. Speculate!

1 Hatsune Miku – Miku Miku ni Shite Ageru
* Still no idea how they will “emulate” Miku.. probably have someone sing and project Miku on the screen? Not sure if they really let her open the show, I was hoping something more mindblowing like last year’s epic Okkusenman.

* …this is so random, but since Momoi always gets a duet since she participated, and there’s not many choices this year.. but I’d rather have Asapon rather than Miku lol.

Blah not the full version, I know. I wanna see moar Yuinyan! >_< I've pirated the full song (I'll still buy the CD cos I can't possibly make a hole in my collection) but boy the song is so.. disjointed. In a bad anime OP sense. Srsly.

But the PV always makes crappy songs hundred times better, like how Megan Fox made the crappy-metal-testicles-banging-each-other hundred times better too (yes I hold grudge cos the cinema ticket is worth one CD single).

Nothing much to say, it's fairly similar to what we had before: studio recording footage, individual recording of each artist, blah blah. I have to note that Momoi looks reeaaaally cute tho, with twintails, huge white headphone, and and and sailor uniform! Who am I kidding here? xD

And WTF it was really a Nana x Aya duet. D: I hope this isn't a sign they will do one in the actual live *shivers* Another Yukarin x Nana is all I want, really.

Now, the PV Collection DVD is another story.

..so this is exactly the reason why this year’s Animelo theme was sold without DVD. Titled “Animelo Summer Live Theme Songs ～5th Anniversary～”, it will have ALL five PV and its respective making of. Damn, so why the faaaaahk did I buy all those CDs with fugly covers? ;__; Not that this DVD cover is any better.

Anyway it’s not up for pre-orders yet in CDJapan, but Amazon already lists it (tho still unavailable for orders) so just keep an eye on my Twitter lol.
