Massive scale for an anime event. Obviously the power of Nanoha+ top 2 seiyuu idols Yukarin x Nana + solid seiyuu guests! Gathering total of 16,000 Nanohatards!! That’s more than same-day Sphere @Budokan + Granrodeo @NHK Hall + Nogawa Sakura @Stellar Ball combined. ^^;;

To get the feeling of Lyrical Party, watch footage of Riripa I, Riripa II, Riripa III (subbed). I own 1 Nanoha DVD/season just for these. xD

Lyrical Magical Report, start!!

Before.

I didn’t really want goods. Granted I like NanoFate, watched it, own various related stuff, but in the end I’m a bigger YukaNana-tard. ^^; Riripa goods are more Comiket-ish than live-ish so I wouldn’t fight for it. I’m happy with towel and pamphlet!

Officially 「ともだちになったんだ」 so “possible” sounds rather off? ^^;

Got in 10 mins before the scheduled start-time 5pm. Maybe too many people or mis-organized but it took loooong time to seat everyone. Megami ad kept looping on screens so I looked around. Being Nanoha event, obviously full of fanboys.. but fangirls ratio isn’t too bad, with both Nana/Yukarin having quite many female followers.

Amazing stage set-up! Biggest screen in middle with Raising Heart and Bardiche to frame its sides. 4 lights designed like aura shields! Screens everywhere, even on the back! My preorder ticket got me pretty good spot on Arena C2, clear view of middle platform!

5.25pm, BEST OPENING EVER!
Exactly what everyone had dreamed the night before.

Tamura Yukari x Mizuki Nana popped out center stage… Innocent Starter, full song duet━ヾ(*≧∀≦*)ﾉ━!!!!! I don’t know how to describe this breathtaking experience… two of my favorite singers singing one of the best songs.. perfect atmosphere with magnificent sea of blue and pink lights!

Near InoSuta ending, YukaNana held hand and walked to big stage.. and Little Wish 〜lyrical step〜!!!! Confused shouts of “YU~KARIN! NA~NACHAN!” like AnisonSP3, just 7 times crazier! At this point I’m just grateful to be alive (；▽；)ノ

Then, Raising Heart’s voice welcomed us to Lyrical Party IV!!

Guests Introduction.
Mishima Akio (Mishi-P), King Records producer who handles Nana/Yukarin/Nanoha-anime/etc was MC, like previous Riripa or Nana/Yukarin’s Fanclub Events. Guests are:

Mishi-P specially requested us, “Today, there will be a big announcement. Please act surprised.” LOLOL the game/movie news leak ^^;;;

Staff set-up booth panel with chair and table for each guest in the order listed above. Even bothered coloring them based on character’s color. Behind each seat, above the guest’s head… there’s 1 balloon, also color-based. Game losers will have their balloon partially inflated. Losing 3x will make it blow up right there. With that size, it did look scary.. xD

Corner #1: Painter Showdown (おえかき対決 Oekaki Taiketsu)
Unlike previous Riripa when it was a competition to find the best artist… this time it’s for the WORST artist. Nana had this ;__; expression–it does sound like a punishment game for her xD

How to vote: While guests are drawing, screen randomly select an area of 1000 audience based on seat blocks. They access the voting website from URL in QR-code given in entrance. Vote 1 artist! Results shown in a bar chart on screen.

Round 1: Just out-of-bed Nanoha 寝起きのなのは
-Nana and Yukarin had similar drawings: Yawning Nanoha raising one hand; just different hand. Mishi-P commented how Yukarin’s Nanoha’s futon looks like a poor villager’s.. err isn’t Nanoha using Western bed. ^^;
-Nacchan and Mizuhashi are pro! d(>_<)b
-Mizuhashi drew a twintailed girl hugging bunny doll captioned “Nyu~” ..wait that’s not Nanoha, it’s the person-inside!! ^^;;; Yukarin voiced “Nyuuu~” too cute!
-Mikako “won” with her Ultraman Haha Nanoha.. ^^;;; her blue balloon inflated.

Round 2: Precia vomitting blood 吐血するプレシア
-Yukarin’s Precia vomited a LOT of blood. Mishi-P said “That much blood… sure die.”
-Nana’s similar but lower quality with Precia looking happy/smiling ^^;;
-Mizuhashi’s too pro again, but Rei-nee’s more awesome. Being her own character: sparkling Precia vomiting blood in glory ^^;;;;; zero vote!
-Masumin’s pretty horrible.. side-view of a kappa-like creature vomiting.
-Nana “won”. While her yellow balloon was inflating, Yukarin put her mike near balloon to scare Nana. xD

Round 3: Chrono bleeding in last battle 最終決戦で何故か流血しているクロノ
-Yukarin finished damn quick since “It’s the worst competition right?” then peeked others’ drawing, “Uwa~ everyone’s so good… *looks at Nana’s drawing* …PFFT.” ROFLMAO that’s awesomely mean. xD
-Nana drew this normal-looking boy in old-style school uniform.. bleeding from forehead saying “僕は大丈夫だ” (I’m okay). It’s really crappy. ^^; Yukarin defended saying it really looks like Chrono! Even asked Mikako to voice “I’m okay” .. YukaNana’s strategy to praise each other’s bad drawing. xD
-Yukarin’s once again violent, half of Chrono’s face covered in blood. ^^;;;
-Masumin’s Chrono had a sword stabbing his head, raising questions from everyone, “Did you actually watch the movie?”
-Nana “won” again! Yukarin said, “Can I say something? *pointing at Nana’s drawing* ….no it doesn’t.” 「それはないわーーーー」┐(´ー｀)┌　LOLOL Yuka-bully!! Nana made this sew-mean T__T face to Yukarin.. aaah they’re so cute!
-Yukarin calmed Nana down, “Don’t be scared of the balloon, I’m here!!” .. but once the balloon inflated and it really looked like it was going to blow, Yukarin ran away. ^^;;;;;; It didn’t explode tho.

Corner 2: Opinion Poll (意識調査 Ishikichousa)
Still the same voting way, but now choosing 1 guest based on question. During voting time, each guest will predict who will win. Those predicted wrongly will get their balloon inflated!

Question 1: Who seems to have the most bank savings?
-Both Yukarin and Nana voted Masumin because she writes books. Masumin protested, “But you two sells CD!!” ^^;; Mikako and Rei-nee also voted Masumin, while the rest voted for Nana.
-Audience voted for.. Nana! Isn’t it obvious with her sales and lives. Yukarin and Masumin followed not too far behind.

Apparently Mishi-P secretly consulted a tarot reader to read everyone’s luck for next year too! Announcing the result in ranking format, from #2~6 saving #1 (best) and #7 (worst) for the last. Also read tarot-sensei’s comments for both best/worst.

#7 Poor Mizuhashi, who admitted she’s kinda get into Yahoo!Auctions lately hey that’s dangerous place! (“#7 doesn’t know how to use money”). Whoa is this stuff pretty accurate?

Balloon time. Everyone who didn’t vote for Nana got their balloon inflated including Nana ^^; Nana’s balloon exploded! She was relieved the terror is over, but Mishi-P called for new yellow balloon! xD

Question 2: Who will live the longest?
-Yukarin and Mizuhashi voted Rei-nee. Nacchan and Mikako voted Masumin. Nana voted Mikako because her energetic nature. Rei-nee voted Nacchan. Masumin voted Yukarin because she’s the forever-17 princess. ^^;
-Audience voted for.. Yukarin!! Well obvious. xD Rei-nee followed closely.

-Masumin, Mikako, Nacchan voted for Rei-nee for her obvious adult charm. Mm, I agree.
-Nana also voted Rei-nee, which got everyone’s boo.. hey Nana’s the one promoting the story in Live Games! Ero-shishou!! xD

-But audience has decided…. complete victory for Nana with over 95% votes. ^^;;;;;;; The bar chart went SO fast it was darn funny.

-PSP game streamed! Game maker Tomita-san joined stage, then game title announcement: Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A’s Portable THE GEARS OF DESTINY!!
-Mishi-P thanked us for the (faked) surprised reaction. ^^;;;;

Suddenly screen shows Mahou Kazoku Wolken Hayate!!
When everyone was laughing, we heard a familiar deep voice..
Shimizu Kaori (Signum), Yuzuki Ryoka (Shamal) omg damn pretty, Ichijo Kazuya (Zafira), and Sanada Asami (Vita) introducing themselves in-character from side stages!! Everyone was still WOAAAH-ing when someone popped up the center platform… Ueda Kana (Hayate)!!!!!
Secret gueessstttsssaaaaahhh━━ヾ(≧∀≦)ﾉ━━!!

A’s cast + game pages were sealed as “confidential” in pamphlet.

Game preview continues.. seems like better gameplay. I finished all arcs in the first game but honestly that was kinda boring. There’s an unknown fighter with pink hair! Yukarin quickly commented, “Eh? That person didn’t exist before…” From the pamphlet seems to be 2 new chara!!

After screening, A’s cast joined Movie cast on stage.

Corner #4 Shuffle Afureko
FINALLY!!! Since I go to Yukarin/Nana solo lives anyway, I looked forward to this more than the live part!

Seiyuu in Team Movie and Team A’s get shuffled into characters, then free ad-libbing based on a certain scene. Audience will clap to decide which team had better show!

Scene #1: First Impact
First battle of Nanoha and Fate above the woods. Both used their weapons to attack, then Nanoha lost and fell down… lastly close-up to Fate’s lips uttering “Gomen…”

Battle scene in harbor. Nanoha asked why Fate has such lonely eyes, but Fate refused to answer. If Nanoha wins, Fate has to answer. Yuuno and Arf showed some reaction (no lines). Fighting scene. Chrono intervened and binded them.

Both teams did lots of brainstorming.. expect interesting results!

Audience claps were pretty close.. since both Team Movie’s fanservice (I SUPPORT) and Team A’s lulz were amazing. Mishi-P decided A’s won. Yukarin didn’t accept her lost and slammed her script-book to the floor. xD

-Mishi-P walked to the center stage. People started asking him to dance/sing. If you think that’s disrespectful to this big guy, it later turned into “mawatte” calls ^^;;;;; Mishi-P did (awkwardly) turn around!! xD
-Reported Nanoha Movie attracted 270,000 viewers in 72 cinemas all Japan!! Woot!

-Surprise guests! Donna Burke (Raising Heart) and Kevin J. England (Bardiche)!! Very tempted to shout “Australia!!” for the lulz but didn’t. xD
-Short interview about their impressions on the movie. Nice to understand what they’re talking about while others had to wait for translator mwahaha. Actually I’m kinda surprised both couldn’t speak Japanese. ^^;
-Lastly, Donna voiced special Shinkansen announcement for us.. train leaving Nagoya, through Shinagawa, arriving in Saitama Super Arena!!

FINALLY!!! Mishi-P said it’s going to be long! Well that’s the point of renting SSA and listing both bands Cherry Boys and Momoiro Danshaku as performers.

Yukarin talked about her experience playing the PSP game, but she finished it and saw the wonderful Nanoha ED with NanoFate taking a bath together. xD Fans congratulated her for finishing the game 「勝利おめでとう」 but the shouts weren’t clear. “You know, standing here with 16,000 people murmuring unknown things to you .. is really scary…” ^^;;;;
-Not sure I gotta be embarrassed or proud but I cried during My Wish My Love. ^^;;;;; Too many tall guys blocking my view, so I just watched Nanoha movie montage on screen. Yukarin’s voice was just perfect, somehow I felt so touched tears just ran down… just a bit!! >_<

YukaNana rehearsed on different days so I didn’t put my hopes too high for more collaboration.. that’d be nice, but the opening act was godly enough （；▽；）ノ

Mishi-P and all guests joined Yukarin on stage. Hall went dark… another fake surprised reaction time! Official announcement of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 2nd A’s!!! KITAAAAA━━(ﾟ∀ﾟ)━━!!! A’s is my favorite Nanoha series so can’t wait for it!! Scheduled for… 2012. ^^;; Since it’s already end of 2010, Mishi-P said that the fastest it’s going to be a little over 1 year, longest 2 years!

More Goods.

I got most of them in Yokohama, but still queued for HOURS under Citron no Typhoon weather… I joined about 4.30am, so had to stand holding umbrellas, shivering cold until they let us morning-hardcores to get sheltered about 10am… a lot more people standing unsheltered but that’s what you get for coming after 6am~ xD

First guys in line arrived at 8pm the day before and never left. ^^; Overnight queuing was banned, so the first people got everyone’s name in a list by order of arrival to form a fair queue by 4am.. /hats off. Before the first train arrives, there were 150~200ish people already. We’re not losing to crazy weather!

Finally we’re in!! Booth opened on time at 12.

Limited T-shirt!! SO worth queuing for houuuurs! Glad I’ve got best 2 shirts with Yukarin drawing. As expected final color is PINK!

-Gave a try to gachagacha part 1 this time since I’ve got almost all from part 2.

-Limited straps for Tokyo is pink with blue star!
-Limited keyholder for Tokyo has Kurousa (!!), green striped candy, and pink star!
-New Purin strap made of sparkling stones.
-The rest are from gacha part 1: 3x portrait, 1x teruteruYukarin, 1x usagi memo, 1x toothbrush.

-New puppet one-piece. Looks funny on Nanoha lol. Yes despite not having puppets yet I bought it. I’ll get one somehow so it’s A-OK~♪

Meeting Yukarin Fans!
Worth noted in case my broken brain forgets it. Met up with a lot of Yukarin fans! Too many that I got very confused @_@ and forgot to take photos.., but still awesome: Friendly guys and cute girls v(*v*)v

-A group of fans hailing from Osaka, met them in Yokohama. They attended ALL SCS tour lives.. a group of dedicated citizens. Also the ones who arranged goods queue.

-A fangirl I met in Akihabara. I was taking pics of Yukarin’s Gamers booth and she just spoke to me lol so we exchanged contacts. Yesterday she aimed for Nanoha-look with white ribbon and twintails.. sooo cute! x3 Glad to see her again!

-A fangirl I somehow got to know in Twitter. Dancer audition winner for Anisama Girls Night and got featured in Nicolive so I twitted she was cute.. somehow she found it a week later orz. Definitely the most hardcore Yukarin fan ever!! She attended faraway lives, replies to Yukarin’s every single tweets, distributed free handmade pompoms for fans, cosplayed as Yukarin’s You&Me PV costume yesterday (!!), very friendly and pretty.. wonderful person. (´∇｀*)

Pompom!! Now I can cheer properly!! Thank you!

Bad news first, the venue Kokusai Forum. Someone told me it’s famous for being crappy and now I know why. My seat was 2F row 4 which was “technically good” but in reality soooo far from stage. I don’t know what this hall was designed for, boring congress with old men whose face you don’t want to see? Stage is narrow and too far from audience seats even in 1F.

Setlist is very similar so check out previous report for song/costume details. I’ll focus on MC and specials!

Started 10 mins late.
Opened with Heavenly Stars -> Chelsea Girls -> Oshiete A to Z.
Yokohama fans were crazy, but Tokyo felt more insane… maybe because I was in 2F and could see everything: these are a bunch of freaks…in a good way!! Floor was literally shaking during Chelsea Girls xD

Welcoming us to the final live.
“It’s been 5? 6 years since Kokusai Forum? Cutie Cutie in 2005!”
“It’s also been a while since Tokyo live, happy to finally coming around to Tokyo! …. despite living in Tokyo, lol that sounded weird.”

“Who went to Cutie Cutie live?” (about half of audience responded…)
“So it’s always the same people all over again…”
“2005 means.. if someone was 1 year-old, now 6 year-old!”

I don’t know how many of you know (seems nobody’s reading this Yukarin report anyway xD) but Chelsea Girl has a special chant by fans during instrumental part:

Crazy penlight-waving (following the drum tempo) Hadashi no Princess! Then band performance during costume change. To be honest fatigue started to catch me and I got REALLY sleepy by that time.

Comes back with cool Tomorrow. Then altered from Yokohama’s Sweet Darlin’ we got Cursed Lily yayyy!! One of my favorite cool songs. For Love Sick.. more people seem to memorize the rap part but still not very apparent.

Costume change time… still the same video of neco and neko trying hard to wake Yukari-hime… the happi-coat-wearing PPPH part is still my favorite lol. After Yukari-hime finally wakes up, neko changing her clothes / dressing her up, covering Yukarin.. and someone shouted “NEKO JAMA!!!” (Neko, hindrance!!) ^^;

Acoustic corner Namida no Loop, last coupling from Oshiete A to Z. Makes an awesome acoustic version cuz I don’t like the CD version instruments.

Custom change time, new video on screen: Tokyo tour log! Too dangerous to hijack an otaku shop like other cities so it was special.. Yukarin visited the doll company who made Yukarin’s bunny dolls: San-ei Co., Ltd. with Neko and Neco!

Entering the office, there were SO many dolls on display.. it’s not a shop; I doubt normal people are allowed to enter so no stalking this time. Yukarin took interest in some dolls: sheep, elephant, cat… Elephant had the same color as Kusunde Neko so Yukarin was considering whether to ditch Neko for the elephant LOL.

When Yukarin was playing with a bunny doll (similar to the one she throws during fancy baby doll), a staff greeted them.
“Aa, pleased to meet you. I’m the one who buys this bunny doll the most in the world.” (世界で一番このうさぎを買っていると思います。) ^^;;;;;

Discussed about making her own original doll design, but after knowing that at least 2000 dolls have to be produced, Yukarin was kinda shocked. Before leaving, Yukarin was given 100ish dolls in a big box (“I’ll transfer the money later~~!”) and hand-carried it outside lol.

Back to songs. Koi no Time Machine really has the power to get everyone pumped.

Everyone got on stage, with Momoiro Danshaku (band) they lined up on the center stairs ready to be punished. That looked dangerous, but some managed to roll down (mero~n) and up (n~rome) properly ^^;;

Not much on staff cuz Kingdom citizens got all the specials!
First, “MELOOO~~~N!!” normal way “fuuu~~~” while falling back.
Then “NOROI!!” (cursed) and everyone put a gloomy zombie pose “Hooo~~~” spontaneously so everyone are really on the same wavelength.. xD
And “HIZAMAZUKE!!” (Kneel!!) just like in Meta Usa Hime everyone “Haaaaa~~~” while bowing down… awesome shit.

She stepped front and said “Aha~~n.” really plainly LOLOL so everyone boo-ed her.. she tried again with “Iya~~n.” “Uhuu~n.” even “Nyaa~” but those were half-assed too lol so we kept boo-ing.

Band decided it has to be the revolving-ass dance! So she did that again!! ww

Finishing fbd song, the music stopped for the final SEKAI ICHI KAWAII YO!!.. awesome. ;_; Followed by Love Love Baby Happy Star… then pompom time starts from candy smile -> Gratitude (ARIGATTTOOUUU!! *splashes pink confetti*) -> last song LOVE ME NOW! I’m so happy I can cheer properly with pompom… ;__;

Encore break. Phew. Noticed people hanging Chibikko Yukarin on their belt cuz that’s what Yukarin does on encore.. I see that everyone here went to at least 1 other concert ^^;

Both Neko and band members also did the same.

Then Yukarin alone did byebye waves to everyone, before leaving the stage.

She reappeared soon after, in the same costume. When thanking us for encore, I realized her voice sounds serious, not her usual playful tone.. and indeed it was.

“…well, everyone gets old too right? Yukari is also .. not young too.”

The she proceeds to a special announcement. Her tone changes back to happy-Yukarin… Spring concert 2011 in Nippon Budokan… wait for it, TWO DAYS LIVE!! April 15 (Friday) and 16 (Saturday). As a good Kingdom citizen I’ll go no matter what~♪ I’ll even pretend sick to goods-queue on Friday!! xD

After tension went down, Yukarin said she wants to sing another song.
“This song.. how to say it.. a Yukari song singing about Yukari is just natural.. but, I think that there are people who could relate to this song too… lol I couldn’t say this well. Anyway I just hope everyone can head to the future where Yukari walks to!”

レゾンデートルの鍵 (Raison D’etre no Kagi) acoustic version… was just beautiful. Her voice was so tender, the atmosphere was sooo good.. perfect ending to the live tour. This songs shot up to one of my top Yukarin ballads.

Taking photos of goods is fun, but also tiring especially if one of them is super huge.. just thinking about where to spread Melon towel always made me postpone the photoshoot. xD But finally it’s here!!

Precaution(?) Yukarin goods are overly cute and sparkling bright…☆

After 10/10 concert I didn’t go home but loitered around Yokohama station until morning.. about 4.30AM joined the queue, where about 50 people were already camping there. Booth opens at noon so it was a loooong wait.

Beautiful morning in Yokohama. I totally passed out for about 2~3 hours on the ground.. glad weather was pretty good, cool breeze etc tho at some point I could feel burning sun for a while.. >_<

Booth opened early at 11.30AM.

Photo actually taken the day before, but well no change anyway. Pretty small but lines moving very fast for early customers, since they’re just after limited goods. Most hardcores go to all concerts so they buy regular goods when Yukarin visits their town…

Anyway, let’s start with Limited Goods & Gachapon!

-The only item limited to 1 per person.
-Finally an official Yukarin doll! Tho it means no new bunny dolls on this tour.. Very simple design and kinda smaller than I thought… but hey it’s chibikko Yukarin! A friend queued but not buying this so I took her share… I wonder if I should get another one in Tokyo and make it triple Yukarin?

Gachagacha is the normal overpriced 500 yen, and I didn’t budget for that… before the existence of Yukarimizu made me go APEC ^^;

-The single most-wanted gachagacha item: Yukarimizu!! Used as joke material in MC so everyone wanted this more than the “special item” (wallet was it?).. also said to be rarer~ xD Of course this isn’t a problem with my ridiculous luck, so I obtained TWO Yukarimizu within a few tries!! xD Gave 1 to a friend tho. Yukarimizu peroperoooo~
-Haven’t opened it yet but might drink it later.. it’s just Volvic inside so I can always refill it.. with say, meron soda?

Gachagacha A4 pin-ups when trying to get Yukarimizu. Only 4 options in Gacha Part B so lucky no doubles~ and I always like cute Yukarin so 1 & 2 shots are <333

-Limited Usa-tabi 2010 ~Aki~ (Bunny’s Journey 2010 ~Fall~) is the keychain with yellow star (live date engraved), and striped candy.. to fit the live theme. I got Cherry (pink bunny) with this.. in other halls star has different color and bunny could be Milk or Choco.

-Limited Memorial Keyholder is another keychain with yellow strap and hot pink star (can’t see its red ribbon with this color). Both color varies. I like how they put instructions on various ways to use it: 1) just like that, 2) all straps, 3) all stars, 4) strap and key! Way to make us want to collect more… I’ll catch another star for sure!

-Gachagacha: Luckyyy Yukarin pins!! Only 2 types and I got them one after the other lol. Also got usa-stamp; pretty good but I’d probably never use it.

Live Equipments!
Wearable stuff, some I even wear in everyday life.. tho definitely some are strictly concert-only ^^;

-Nanoha proudly wearing hachimaki (headband) with Yukari Kingdom printed!! Yes I’ll wear this next time haha. Too bad I don’t have Yukari Kingdom happi coat to go with it just yet…
-Starry Candy Stripe penlight, only available in pink and that’s all we need.

Pink muffler towel and Jumbo Melon towel… I can barely spread this in my room lol had to clean up a bit to make space. ^^; Muffler is used as  normal in concerts, wipe sweat etc.. while this Melon towel is most likely going to be my blanket while queuing overnight for goods!! I wonder if anyone made this a dakimakura….

I just had to get this Usamimi Parka (as you can see, hooded sweatshirt with bunny ears)!!! And it’s Kurousa too~~~ I’ve been wearing this for a while LOL. Back print is kinda big, but it’s not that flashy (and the hoodie covers it most of the times). Of course I take the pink ribbon off tho..
-Penlight is featured again, this time with pink wristband! Crap didn’t realize the logo is half-hidden lol.

Regular T-shirt I put on usamimi parka above. Design is similar to most Yukarin’s regular shirts I’ve seen. Well every Kingdom citizen needs one damn pink T-shirt so yeah. Kinda bummed that S-size isn’t available, considering Yukarin fangirl % might be bigger than Nana’s.. but everyone dressed like her so I see the point.

Now THIS is special T-shirt.. 9/23 Niigata limited! Bright carrot orange with shining blue print… can’t get any flashier? Logo in front seems pretty normal, but back side has Princess’ original drawing!! Of… onigiri… I think… ^^;

-And thisssss is 10/11 Yokohama limited! Bright yellow with sparkling pink print of Yukari herself!! Definitely one of the best designs since she often features this moe chara in her autographs.. lovely.
-Funny note that if this becomes my favorite Yukarin shirt.. coincidentally my favorite Nana shirt is also yellow from Live Academy Ehime lolol.

Lol for once pamphlet is way down the priority list (unlike Nana’s). It wasn’t even on my original list, I just bought it on impulse. ^^; Glad I did tho. Bonus 4 white papers with SCS logo, and 3 pin-ups. Photos inside are a bit too Photoshopped imo.. but I love her mischievous smile on pin-up #1~♪

-It’s Milk (white bunny) usa-pouch! Surprisingly well-made and slightly bigger than I had expected. I forgot to take out the long shoulder straps lol well it’s just normal black.
-There are other 2 bags on sale but I gotta pass the budget for gachagacha.. well nothing special anyway.

Call Book

Fan-made call book, basically otagei lesson! Yukarin’s lyrics in pink, fans’ calls in blue. I memorized most of those by watching BD but this is pretty helpful, especially for newbies. ^^

I actually never bought Yukarin CD singles, only concerts and albums.. so these are all valid purchase! Rittle Uish is must-have, the rest I just chose based on cover’s attractiveness…. lol.

- Bonus from 2000 yen CD purchase. I chose Yukari peropero file holder instead of peropero poster… well I could change my mind and get it in Tokyo live lol.
- Paper fan / uchiwa; bonus from Yokohama Gamers.. bought on impulse orz. This used to be in all Gamers but Tokyo ran out of those long time ago.

Yukari Kingdom Passport

I owned this for almost 2 years (from a friend) but haven’t gotten the chance to use it until now… finally!! Sales is now limited to FC-only, and during special time frame.. (now not selling).

Located in FC Booth, the stamp varies between lives: Yukarin’s original drawing!! Whatever creature they are…

Gamers @Yokohama
As I’ve mentioned in my report post, Gamers Yokohama was visited by Princess berself where she tried to sell her own album… the shop manager is a huge Kingdom citizen so the shop is well-decorated!! Didn’t see the shop manager when I visited after buying goods.. lol I guess he’s in Pacifico waiting for the concert? XD

After a long day… and being SCS’s “behind-the-scene” theme… nothing’s better than a bowl of delicious ramen with Yukarin! ♥♥

The plan was: Faylan x ELISA event → 2-hours trip to Pacifico Yokohama → enjoy Oct 10 concert (no hope on goods) → loiter around Yokohama overnight → queue for Oct 11 goods → go home cuz I can’t afford another ticket lol.

Rather than live report, this is more like MC report. Because Yukari-hime is just that awesome.

Arrived about 5pm, goods booth was still open. Surprisingly L-sized limited shirt was still available. Blue shirt with yellow text and Yukarin’s drawing of an ugly creature on the back, no wonder they don’t want it. Everything else I wanted were sold out, even gachapons were gone, so I only got a penlight. Cheers paranda for Niigata T-shirt and wristband to survive the day.

Won ticket off auction rather cheap…but totally surprised to learn that “row 10″ was actually ROW ONE. First 9 rows used to extend stage. A bit too the right but still ZOMG! My first 1st-row in a real concert!

One thing I quickly noticed was the number of female fans… there were seriously a lot of them and 80% were dressing up like Yukarin, princess lolita with twintails.. I didn’t expect them to be this many, which was a good thing, though kind of scary ^^;;

As usual concerts never start on time. Lights went off and the big screen started a countdown Opening Video and I started to get blood rush.. xD

As I expected, album starter Heavenly Stars also started the live. Smooth start since it’s not too insane (by Yukarin standard); fans are already going crazy with Yukarin’s presence alone ^^; ….or so I thought before it continued to Chelsea Girl!! HAPPY HAPPY!! FUFUFUFU!! This early?? Immediately the hall’s temperature shot up!! And up next Oshiete A to Z was as cuuuute as ever~ Finally I can do *claps claps* *claps* for real.

-Yukarin reminisced that she performed in Pacifico Yokohama 3 years ago (Sweet Milky Way), then asked who attended that. Plenty shouted in response. When normal singers would thank them, Yukarin commented, “You people have higher attendance rate for lives than office or school…” which got even louder cheers lol, so Yukarin continued “You’re proud?? Now I’m worried about the future of Japan…” ROFL xD

-Introduced one of the new gachagoods, “Everyone, finally we have Yukari Water (ゆかり水)!! Can you see it?” Camera zooms to pet bottle with Yukarin’s photo, everyone oooooh-ing, “….Only normal water inside.”
But she explained that she’s been using the water since rehearsal time, so it’s actually Volvic (good quality) water inside.

-Suddenly remembered she’s been told that despite not being too big, Pacifico supplies TV for audience! She went to check them out (one in front of me actually), “Ah it’s there. What a totally normal TV… but does it stream news? Yukari wants to know about state affairs….” w

-Commented on front rows people who were spotted NOT drinking Yukari Water xD and also on people wearing blue shirts: “It’s limited T-shirt right? Looks really good! Yukari also wants~ Yukari wants the T-shirt with Yukarin’s own drawing~~” (LOL self-plug?? She must know it didn’t sell out ww)

Narrated in English by Raising Heart, all Momoiro Danshaku (Pink Baron) band members, Momoiro Mates (Pink Mates) dancers, and Momonekodan were intro’ed.
-Momoiro Danshaku: Hatabou (drum), Nobupyon (key), Masanyan (bass), JACK (guitar), and GOD (sax). Didn’t bother remembering uncles’ full names.
-Momoiro Mates: KEI, YUKIE, AYUMI, MyHO (“MyHO”?? really?? xD) Very disappointed my fave Yukarin dancer wasn’t there.. Name escaped my mind atm but she was the hottie one teaching us how to do Melon no Theme otagei in Budokan live.

Costume [7~9]: simple light-blue dress, still haz frills.
Gets calmer with Shooting Star; was okay considering how I disliked Komorebi album lol. I couldn’t stand Suna Ochiru Mizu no Kyuuden‘s weird back noise (won’t even call it sound) before but with real instruments it didn’t sound so bad.

MC2
-Still talking about Pacifico which relates to APEC, an international event to be held soon. She was wondering what APEC stands for but nobody knew either (lol ignorant otaku). I failed big time cos I know what APEC is (Aussie hosted it just a couple of years ago): Asia-Pacific Economic…. somehow C escaped my mind so I didn’t dare answering. Convention? Conference? Concert? CANDY?!?! wuuut. (it’s actually Cooperation) orz.

-Yukarin tried her best to guess. She’s sure A stands for Asia… but what are the rest? Somehow she ended with Pay, Expensive, and Coin LOL so she concluded that APEC is “アジアに高いコインを払う” (Paying expensive coin in Asia) ROFL so in people from various countries are gathering 500 yen coins (largest coin denomination in Japan).
-”That’s nice, Yukari also wants to get APEC!!” ^^;;

-Mentioned strong-looking trucks parked around Yokohama for APEC.. “This morning some people saw Yukari entering the hall, which got Yukari worried! I mean, everyone were shouting ‘Yukariiiiiin!!!!’ .. what if APEC officers think that’s suspicious and arrest everyone…. ;__; but Yukari is glad now that everyone is OK!” www

-Finally Yukarin got a big revelation, “AH!! APEC is gachagacha right?? It only accepts 500yen coin..” LOL

Live continues with another cute song, Hadashi no Princess, which I also like from Oshiete single (I think it’s the stupid anime’s ED too) before running backstage. Band Performance filled the gap, not too bad.

Costume [10~12]: Red (still frilly) dress with long back-skirt and short in front.
As I’ve guessed from the costume, it’s time for cool Yukarin! And there’s no cooler Yukarin song than Tomorrow :3 but the real surprise was Sweet Darlin’, c/w from Little Wish. Apparently this is the few changeable songs between lives. Sweet indeed!

Then Love Sick, which I didn’t like even after repeated listens.. I mean, Yukarin + R&B + rap = wut? But somehow (I wonder why) it turned out well live! Yukarin also danced for real instead of the usual “let’s just pose cute and call it dancing”. There’s only one long rap verse in the song, so it should be easy but I didn’t hear anything. Maybe cuz it’s new, or nobody liked the CD version too lol.

Our princess is sleeping nicely on Kingdom bed. Kusunde Neco and Kusundenai Neco had the hardest task ever: waking Yukari-hime up! No response after yelling, tickling her feet, banging kitchen utensils… offering food almost worked, Yukari-hime took it and hugged it to sleep lulz. Attempted otagei too, quickly followed by all audience HEY!HEY!HEY! before Yukarin screamed us off “URUSAAAAAAI!!” (too cute omg). Both Neco were devastated and started blaming on each other. While they were fighting, Yukari-hime woke up by herself LOL they only realized it after a while, and dressed Yukari-hime up for a special day..

When everyone was focused on the video, I noticed staff preparing chairs so I knew acoustic corner was coming. Nice to finally hear Yukarin’s voice without disruptions. Songs rotated between lives, but wooooah I can haz Jougen no Tsuki (Acoustic ver.)!!!  (variations are Namida no Loop, jelly fish). I personally think JouTsu is one of the best Izayoi track, so ’twas kinda touching. I’m not worthy.. (/ω＼)

Peropero = licking; the latest Yukarin joke mentioned in Nicolive. Citron no Ame photos have plenty of legs and she’s been receiving creepy tweets “Yukarin’s thighs peropero” but she was secretly proud of it.

-Ramen talk because “ramen” is the behind-the-scene theme! xD Mentioned Ramen Museum but she couldn’t go since it’s in Shin-Yokohama. She wonders if they have chashu-men. I can go but I can’t afford it.. w

Live continues. If Nana has towel songs, Yukarin has doll songs!! Waving FC-limited bunny dolls I don’t have yet. I’d love full version of Koiseyo but Sugar Tune was cute too.

Then out of nowhere, Meta Usa Hime ~Kurousagi Oukoku Mass~ intro!! FINALLY I GOT TO WORSHIP YUKARIN, like literally bowing! And that intense NYAN!NYAN!NYAN!~~!! total occult experience! xD This got rotated with Melon no Theme in other lives, but got that in Anisama 2008 so GO Himetal!! Hime!Hime!Hime! \(_ _)/

-Special mentions to pink Lumica sticks sold there, “Lightsticks die within a few minutes, but Kingdom penlights use batteries so they last forever!!” lol smooth advertisement.
-Yukarin was Gamers’ temp staff, promoting her new album. I think all customers bought the CD regardless they already have it or not (how dare you not re-buy it when Yukarin herself sells it!!)

-Yukarin awesomely “Hello I’m Tamura Yukari”-ing anyone who visited Citron no Ame booth. ^^;
-The last “customer”… Gamers shop manager!!! ROFL he got a standing ovation from us. GJ, Tencho!!

Yukarin jumped out to Koi no Time Machine; a personal fave that I’ve been dying to experience live! Some Yukarin songs are soooo obviously made for concerts and this is a perfect example. ^^;

-Yukarin asked 3F fans if they can move freely or is it scary/dangerous. Everyone shouted “WE’RE OK!!” tho it should be pretty scary lol. But we all know what this means: MELON TIME.
-Usually only band members become Meron guinea pigs, but she’s been calling out King Records staff in this tour too, “But this is Yokohama so maybe they’ll get angry if I call them up stage…”
-”…..anyway ISHIOKA-SAAAAAN?” (LOL)
-When waiting for the poor staff, we see Danshaku are discussing in secret. Yukarin saw that and approached them but they didn’t give in, so Yukarin protested, “Eee? This is Yukarin! The real thing!! Look similar right?” xD
-Staff still not coming yet, so Yukarin played around with piano, making totally random (bad) noises. Staff still nowhere to be found, “Yukari played such a great song.. still not coming…”
-Finally Ishioka-san (a very office-worker-looking girl) appeared. Yukarin said that Sawahata-san (another King staff) seems to be somewhere in 2F so Isshi will do Melon alone LOL. Isshi grabbed the mike, “Sawahata… come down here or I’ll hold grudge.” D=
-Sawahata-san had no choice but join up stage. First thing he said was, “Yukarin… yesterday you promised you won’t do this….” ;__;
-Yukarin replied with her mischievous smirk, “Why did you even take me seriously?” XD
-Finally MELON’ed band and staff. It’s a bit different this time that the first Melon only made everyone fell down. Reverse Melon (NROMEEEE~~~) is supposed to wake them up.. but it only worked to King staff! Danshaku are still lying down!! (I guess that’s what they were discussing about lol)
-Yukarin kept trying before giving up, “Noooo~ Yukari’s toys broke~~ T__T” but after a few NROME works, they came back! Loud applause lol FINALLY IT’S OUR TURN.

FINALLY You & Me!! I’m glad I completely mastered the rap part. Everyone was awesome, couldn’t hear motsu’s streamed voice at all. Then without rest to everyone’s #1 song.. fancy baby doll SEKAI ICHI KAWAII YOOO!! She threw 5 dolls to audience, but only those in row 6~15 could possibly get it (and die squeezed by other fans).

Short intermezzo during fbd, Yukarin re-intro’ed band members. GOD had an awesome idea: playing K-pop famous song Mister which made Yukarin did the same revolving ass dance LOLOLOL for a good few minutes too!! The hall exploded with excitement until Yukarin protested, “A non-Yukari song got the most response!! Blasphemy!! >__<”

After the hall calmed down, finished fbd. Directly jumps to Love Love Baby Happy Star, another “made-for-concert” songs from Citron no Ame.

Costume [20-22]: Orange one-piece (under previous clothes)
With new outfit, candy smile, c/w that made Koiseyo CD worth buying.. though I’m shocked to learn this is rotated with Wakusei no Rendezvous in other lives. ;_; I like cansmi but GO HAPPY GO HAPPY ;_____; *cry buckets*

Gratitude was soooo much better live, especially ARIGATOU call… Here blue confetti tapes popped out to us, hitting everyone back to reality that this is going to end soon. But excitement rose for LOVE ME NOW! even after Yukarin announced this is the last song. I’m jealous of people who has FC pompoms, but at least I’m pulling off YAY! calls properly.

ENCORE phew rest.

Costume [23-25]: Pink live shirt and white skirt.
Restarted with one of my all-time fave Douwa Meikyuu! But the encore highlight was totally stolen by new song Super Special Smiling Shy Girl and its awesome synchrocalls. DAISUKI YUKARIN!! <33 WARATTE YUKARIN!! <33

-Momonekodan enters stage, Kusunde & Kusundenai Neko time!!
-Both neko tried to make fun and bully Yukarin, but somehow she stayed calm?!
-Yukari: “See, Yukari know a magic word to use if you act violent…「I’ll open your zipper」” www
-Instantly both neko begged Yukarin for forgiveness xD Yukarin pats them, “Don’t worry.. that was a lie. I won’t do that… just yet.” and they ran away in fear.
-Yukarin joked to front-seaters that we look totally drenched with sweat… “Are you OK? Everyone just fought hard in a battle?”

Yukarin announced the real last song, and asked us to listen properly. My wish My love was beautiful it moved me the way the CD couldn’t. Perfect atmosphere, I couldn’t ask for a better ending.

Ending
Yukarin waved goodbye to us. She tried to be as close as possible, walking through side speakers that actually looked dangerous, but I appreciate her effort. Being front row I got to see her smile up close… *saving to brain* I won’t forget it, Hime!! ;A; She also jumped around for 2F and 3F to actually see anything (they won’t lol). Lasted a while before Hime disappeared.. After the usual otsukare claps, Kingdom party really ended.

Impressions
-MCs are as good as the songs itself and I mean this, she’s a genius. Maybe I should start listening to Kurousagi radio…
-Learned that there’s no need for UO to be intensely pumped. In Anisama people used UO for Yukarin but Kingdom citizens chose to synchropink!
-Awesome setlist. Performed 11 out of 15 tracks of the new album, and everything sounded a LOT better live. Also credits to surprise c/ws.. and a heckload of fan faves! This is why I don’t see setlist before the live.
-Tokyo won’t surprise me as much (max. 3~4 song changes) but I’m looking forward to it.

P.S. Yukarin goods are awesome so they deserve a special post later.

8th album release from Tamura Yukari, titled Citron no Ame.
Bought when it hits the stores on Sept 7. Funny note that on its actual release date, Sept 8 marks the first time Japan got some rain again after a whole month of hot hell.. tho it’s not raining oranges for sure.

Only bought one for now, considering to get another but not sure which store. :-/ That’s tapestry from Tora no Ana which I like the most.. Same size as Nana’s Impact Exciter tapestry so they can be raburabu together ♥

Tamura Yukari x Gamers haz shopper bag (any purchase) and a free magazine. Gamers is the only shop with poster, but I don’t really fancy the shot. :-/ Leaning to Animate’s deskpad for an extra.

Promotions.

First is the real reason I bothered to go to Akiba, the ads trailer! Unlike Nana’s truck that kept going around, Yukarin’s truck was parked in the heart of Akiba for a long time.. only moving places every 30 mins or so.

CD Review.
My relationship with Yukarin’s songs is a bit weird. There are songs I really really dig, and those I really don’t care about. ^^; Usually I prefer Yukarin’s songs to be crazy, energetic, lively with exciting beats and all. Some slower songs are pretty good, but the normal pop ones are meh. :-/

I like Citron no Ame much more than Komorebi no Rosette, which I merely bought for its awesome DVD.

Existing songs are all great: You & Me, Oshiete A to Z, My Wish My Love, and Tiny Rainbow, no complaints on those. For new songs.. Heavenly Stars is a fun start. Leading song LOVE ME NOW is easily lovable too, tho I’m more addicted to Love Love Baby Happy Star.. xD looking forward to these live!

Some songs have funny beats (Kamisama Rescue Me!!, Goody & Happy, Suna Ochiru Mizu no Kyuuden) or just meh (Shinseiro, Koi ni Ochita Painter). Good thing that slower songs get better too. Pretty surprised with Love Sick, it’s so.. umm “normal”, considering how crazy Yukarin/motsu duet were in You & Me. ^^; Well less rap to memorize xD
