Well tbh I’m not a big fan of enka (’cause you know I’m still 21 and think it’s boring haha), but the performance was indeed great. Sakamoto’s solo is twice longer than Nana’s but to be fair it is her own song xD
I’m glad the duet sounds pretty balanced despite Nana being a total fangirl .. probably nervous and definitely couldn’t stop grinning the whole song. But I bet she could even cite this song in her sleep, just like me us to innocent starter or sth, right? 
.. so good job for the dream duet!

Damn Nana looks wonderful in that Astrogation hairdo and yes, finally a blog update. Thanks for those who asked if I’m dead. Dead lazy for blogs, yes, but my Nana-loving spirit never dies. 
I’m doing something that will change my Nanaism forever, but more into that later.
Anyways into the big deal. I’m sure most of you know that Nana’s upcoming album is titled IMPACT EXCITER. Hands up all of you who had even the slightest lewd thoughts upon hearing that inappropriate Engrish. I’m guilty too xD Let’s just say I’m glad LIVE GAMES isn’t titled LIVE EXCITER. ^^;

I think Nana did a great job and one of the best performers in Kouhaku, objectively speaking. I mean, wtf Ayumi (tone-deaf), AKB48 (72 bunch of girls who can’t sing), NYC (big gay dance who sang even worse), GND (lol but legs), and that GODDAMN PONYO SONG.

I epicly fell asleep and missed half of the Kouhaku Complete Guide lol. Apparently Nana was one of the hosts! She wore a cute strapless dress, sitting in a kotatsu with 4 other hosts (Sekine Mari out reporting from other places).
Don’t ask me who the other 4 hosts were, tho I think they’re famous lol: the weird Kouhaku PR guy (Itou something), dunno-who #1 (girl), dunno-who #2 (guy), and one creepy gay-looking obaba who used every single chance to touch Nana. I’m not (really) delusional.
J-music fans, please enlighten me so I can bash her properly.
Mystery solved! Nana posted on her blog today that “Kobayashi Sachiko-san” gave her reassuring advice that pumped her fighting spirit for tonight.. .___. She’s an enka singer apparently, also famous for wearing ridiculous stuff for Kouhaku. Lady Gaga alert? Go away from Nana. xD

Mizuki Nana’s first Mugen live in NHK Music Japan, aired few hours ago.. it was recorded live early last month exactly on my birthday (some people might remember I was sulking the whole WEEK thanks to the awesome timing).
