Chihara Minori Live Tour 2009 ~ Parade (2/7 Report)

So yeah I went to Parade too. Sue me.

Yesterday was the first Parade ever, located in Isehara City Hall, about 2 hours by train from Tokyo.. the hall was very small, only held about 1000 people, but heck it was friggin’ awesome.

..though I guess there were only about 20 girls in total. I only saw five different girls before I went in.

Highlights
- 17 songs and 3 encores were sung. Including all singles and some songs from Contact.

- Prism-blabla opened the night. She entered the stage the same way as Contact, in a beautiful white dress with a lolita hat that kept dropping during the first song, lol. This was my favorite costume btw.

- Aoi Kotou was sung so early, I wasn’t mentally prepared lol. It’s the best song out of Parade and it was even better live.

- Second costume was gold/red dress with a HUGE red fur thing in her head.. so big that it distracted me for a sec. Ameagari was awesome.

- It’s not a news for fans, but Minorin is some kind of an airhead, she really is. Few times during the MC, she went blank and paused, before giggling by herself.. OMG too cute. ^^; She gets really excited talking about food too, what’s good in Isehara etc, but I’m sure most of the audience were from Tokyo anyway, so she asked the wrong people.

- Third costume was pretty surprising. It reminded me of Nana’s black FEVER dress (complete with the stick), it’s like her black get-up in Junpaku Sanctuary PV.. looked damn cool in that. But the real surprise was she wore a very short shorts! We all know Minorin likes to wear slightly too many layers, but to actually wear shorts and knee-high leather boots.. someone please stop my nosebleed!

- Lush March!! was different. She taught us how to swing the Parade flag during the chorus (so you will feel left out if you didn’t buy the damn flag lol), really fun!

- I never knew Voyager Train could sound this good! O_o; But Kimi ga Kureta Ano Hi deserved the most hype it got. It’s like everyone cracked all the UO they brought. Another nice surprise was that we got Rinbu Revolution (cover album version).

- The song I was expecting the most wasn’t sung in the correct version! I was disappointed when I heard that horrible intro of Paradise Lost -At Next Nest- After the intro the song started to sound identical to original, so I’m not complaining.

- To my surprise, Toumei Park ni te was sung last to end Parade, but I think it was better that way, since it’s a “calming down” song.. though I’d prefer she’d just skip that and straight to
Everlasting.. damn beautiful with the “starry night” setting.

- Isehara Hall was all white in Junpaku Sanctuary. Glad I bought ultra white to accompany the white Parade light. We sang the last verse together too.

Goods

I only bought the essential things, not like my luggage still can hold anything else. Her goods are quite pricey, and they didn’t provide enough for Isehara. I arrived in the afternoon and there were no “limited charm” (bracelet?) left, but I didn’t want it anyway. The wristwatch also got sold out at night, but I found it weird that the flag and penlights were gone too.. :-/

- Towel. Just because.
- Parade Bag. Can you believe they only offer 7/11 plastic bag no matter how many things you bought? To force us to get this Parade bag for 1,500 yen.

Do the photos justify the expensive cost of this photobook?

YES..

- Parade poster. I don’t like the hair. Paper quality is crap too, but I just couldn’t resist not to get it.
- Now I like this, bonus Paradise Lost promo poster for CD/DVD purchase over 2,000 yen. The only thing I haven’t already have was just regular Parade so there goes.

I wore this, and so did Minorin in the encore. Yay I got the right color. Not a bad design.

Lush March flag, all three penlights (what a way to suck our money), and the wristband.
