What is DaiCon?
DaiCon is an expo, being organized on a scale rarely seen in Malaysia. It is an expo that has been created for the sole purpose of showcasing the latest and most innovative in the world of modern Japanese visual culture, from audio to video, print as well as interactive media.

What can you get there?
- Exhibitions on all facets of modern Japanese visual culture (figurines and more!)
- Live hands-on demonstrations
- Numerous competitions (cosplay and karaoke and more!)
- Cosplayers showcasing their elaborate and intricate costumes
- Fan artists showcasing their high-quality productions for purchase at affordable prices
- Authentic Japanese snacks (yum, Pocky) by Shojikiya to accompany you watch The Sky Crawlers or Ponyoponyoponyo in EMiNA movie marathons.
Woot, sounds like a South East Asian Comiket to me! Might even be better with the *hint*very special announcement*hint* later. 
Getting There
Date: 11-12th July 2009 (Sat-Sun)
Time: 10.00am – 8.00pm
Venue: Grand Hall, Multimedia University, Cyberjaya (how to get there)

Singapore happened to be in my holiday route during that time of the year, so I thought, hey, if I can grab a chance to meet whoever seiyuu is coming (anyone but Hirano Aya plz) and stalk j1m0ne by going to Malaysia for a couple days.. why not? It’s only a few bucks moar to get there by bus.
So with those goals in mind, I’m now officially an affiliated blogger too, joining the likes of (ahem) j1m0ne and le–townberry. It would be relatively easy to spot us, just how often do you see hysteric girls vomiting blood with a “blogger” pass on them? Do say hi if you’re confident enough you don’t get the wrong girls~ xD

Just wondering danie~, are you still planning to go to LIVE DIAMOND before this? Or are you ditching it for Animelo? Either way have fun at Dai Con and I hope you have a good guest this year unlike AX (Morning Musume WTF no).
