This time my seat was perfect, a few rows in front of the middle platform. It wasn’t crazy expensive since it’s pretty far from the real stage, but more than good enough when the performers are in middle stage (they often were).

- Nana and Yukarin stood next to each other, so they were often shown together on screen. Sang one part together and everyone cheered a bit too loud. ^^; I guess we wanted YukaNana duet to happen pretty badly…

- Milky Holmes started first like Sphere on Day 1.. they all sound like elementary-schoolers.
- Arika’s the only one who didn’t wear the Evolution shirt properly.. she made it into an Evolution RIBBON lmfao and attached it to her animal print dress. Sweet!
- Makkun/Nana/Yukarin didn’t really listen to what others had to say lol they were joking with Arika’s trap dancers wtf. I think at one point Nana’s laughing voice got into the mic. That’s kinda bad ^^;
- KOTOKO wasn’t there iirc.
- Nothing really special, everyone seemed more rushed than Day 1.

This time I stayed cos my seat was pretty good. :3 If I weren’t hallucinating, I did get Nana’s attention.. xD well the yellow shirt kinda stood out, and actually I didn’t see anyone else wearing Ehime-limited T-shirt at all (well there should only be few hundreds of this shirts..). I waved Faylan’s towel too but not sure if she saw it.

Anisama Day 1 was enjoyable! I’m disappointed with the lack collaborations tho… only 3 WTH. My seat wasn’t so good (1F or 200lv) cos I wouldn’t go if it wasn’t that cheap xD but I’m glad I went.

Btw Paranda was live-tweeting from Niconico live streaming. Seeing his screenshots, awesome quality for the price of 5k yen (2 days). Not too bad if you’re overseas imo.

There were quite a number of mistakes during the songs.. Either they didn’t have enough practice together, or they had too much fun. The latter is a valid enough reason for me. Afterall that’s the point of Anisama: to have a great time. And I did!

Less performers count
The line-up got shorter, 3-4 less artists each day than last year. :-/ Well, looking at the history, Anisama 2009 was the abnormal one with 45+ songs (5.5 hours) per day. This year they’re reverting back to the old format, less than 40 songs in about 4.5 hours.

Missing in Action
Won’t change anything but it helps to write the feeling out. ^^;

First, it’s not Anisama Girls’ Night’s fault that some female artists aren’t there. The only performers GN “stole” are Misato Aki (not in 2009 anyway), Shimoda Asami, and Suara (only in Osaka!). The rest are in Anisama, or never played before.. “3″ out of 10-ish really isn’t a lot.

Okay, ragelist as follows.

Horie Yui - I was kinda praying for a catfight between Yukarin and Minorin for Hocchan’s love or sth. *runs* But yeah in all srsness, Hocchan hasn’t sold any CD after YAHHO!!… but oy, we’re talking about THE Hocchan here, who has like, hundreds of songs. I really wouldn’t mind guru-guru-mawaru Scramble or Love Destiny!

The IDOLM@STER - Just when I was happy IM@S girls are finally IN the release (after being left out in 2008)… this year they’re not even there!! I hate3x C3xHobby 2010 for taking my IM@S girls away just so they can promote MODEL TRAINS. YOU DON’T NEED SEIYUU TO SELL MODEL TRAINS. GAH. >_>

Suara - I really do suspect she’s pregnant. xD Okay, she only has Akai Ito (White Album 2) in the past year.., but Amaneuta got re-released recently and it’s just Suara’s best album! Even in Girls’ Night she only performs in Osaka, which is her hometown! Even more reasons to be suspicious?

m.o.v.e - Still along the pregnancy line, yuri is a new mommy (a superhawt one who provides voice for a Vocaloid lol) so it’s understandable for them to skip this year despite the new releases.. really too bad tho, at least motsu can come to complete You&Me with Yukarin!

Sakakibara Yui - *sobs in a corner* C’mon, nobody sings as many anison as Yuinyan! I was so happy last year when she got announced…, and those swaying hips indeed blew my brain. I wanna see some real dancers to balance them gloomy AliPro traps… we do need Yuinyan! Or her uber-cool PHANTASM alter-ego.. or her awesome reverse-trap self…. ;A;

Hirano Aya - Yes I do want her to come (twice? lol). I never really hated her, just annoyed. I still like her songs, she gets better live, and now I totally respect her for “coming out” on TV. xD Funny though that my Jap Aya-fans friends don’t seem to be bothered by it (”It’s weirder if she doesn’t have a boyfriend”.. which is true) so please don’t eat what a certain 2ch-translation trollsite has to say. Well her FC event is next week, so I guess we’ll see how most of her fans actually reacted. Too bad she’s not in Anisama, I kinda want to see her Hysteric Barbie get-up. xD

Imai Asami - Mingos has 4 singles, dood!! And her fans are the hardcore ones *ahem*. And mostly male, so it’s kinda LOL that she only gets Girls Night.. and also the reason why I’m not really complaining here, just listing :3

Kalafina - Okay, Yuuka might sing a FJ song, but still, I had pretty big faith that at least Kalafina was going to show up, with all those solid releases. This is why I don’t believe in God…. D:

…I believe in fairies though! Yousei Teikoku’s YUI is instant favorite with her… um, enchanting personality lol. I’m 70% going to their solo concert next month, so am not that sad.. but still the bigger population need to see her, I mean, them.

Misato Aki - A part of the right clique + so many new anison but didn’t get the phone call? I guess she needs to practice for her coming birthday live next Thursday… damn I wanna go.

yozuca* - Personally nothing special, but I’d rather her to perform than, say, May’n lol. I like her School Days songs too.. But she prob refused to go by choice, judging from how nervous she was in 2008.. ^^;

Shimokawa Mikuni - every single year, I keep praying for her suddenly announced to perform in Anisama, based on the little faith of her 2005 appearance. Never came true.

savage genius - Aa’s pregnant, and has confirmed so. The list could go on with Ishida Yoko (Strike Witches 2), Hashimoto Miyuki (too many to say), K-ON! girls (just the best-selling anison?).. there’s still next year to patch up, Anisama.

Official goods?

Shitload of stuff this time. Props for being creative (First-Aid Kit, really?), but I really want none of them lol. Except the pamphlet, which seems to improve compared to before. Also getting evolution PV (DVD). Just the PV? What kind of marketing is that? -_-; Tomorrow’s just advance-sales, out in stores (Animate-only) next week… so who cares.

Shirts are as usual, super ugly: boring evolution text, and is that Transformers logo? BRS and Nico shirts are decent, but I’m not waking up in the morning to buy them limited stuff. That means, forget all the artists goods (not like I want any), tho I hope for some spare Momoi CD on day 2. Other goods are really meh. :-/

Because going to Anisama is like going to war! The most important item of all.. PENLIGHT. If you forgot your penlight, might as well forget your tickets. D: It’s like going to a war without a weapon!

Totally no idea what to wear on Day 1. I left all my previous Anisama shirts at home (like, home-home), and I’ve never attended any of Day 1 artist’s solo concert… the closest connection I have is Makkun’s, but it’s far down there too. ^^; I could grab a shirt tomorrow, but otherwise, normal look. Well, I bring Nana’s Games Red towel, since it fits the red/black theme.

Day 2 is the complete opposite, I have too many choices.

What you wear can totally speaks for yourself. I’ve decided on:
- Nana’s Ehime-limited shirt (”whoa, a real Nanatard“)
- Minorin’s cap (”..and a Minorifag…“)
- Faylan’s towel (”..AND a Feinyan fan..“)

Simple rules.
- No duplicates with previous Anisama. With the very exception of SKILL that always ends the JAMPro Day.
- Most artists get 2 songs: ideally 1 famous song + 1 latest single. With 30k attendance, Anisama is the perfect stage to introduce themselves then promote new stuff. Bigger names sing 3~5 songs (counting duets).
- Priority on anime than game songs, unless there’s no choice.
- Some artists have the privilege to sing whatever they want, anison or not.. like Nana, Yukarin, Minorin.. and lol Nao-nii too. ^^;
- Duets tend to be surprising (well that’s the point) with totally unexpected songs.. so take my guesses with a grain of salt =)

I instantly liked her after first seeing her live in Anisama last year and have been buying some of her CD.. so looking forward to my Tears songs! :3

I was planning to make a signboard saying “NO TRAP” and wave it.. Unless they manage to look like Hideyoshi in which I’ll support them instead. It’s not hate, I’m just a bit scared. ;_;

Performers line-up seems to be fixed by now.. well the concert is in this weekend and they’ve had full rehearsal since a few days ago. I made a list of song predictions to help me catch up with anison world and not going all “???” later.. ^^; Besides the few obvious singers I’m actually rather clueless with current anison… didn’t have time to watch anime for a long while.

Simple rules.
- No duplicates with previous Anisama. With the very exception of SKILL that always ends the JAMPro Day.
- Most artists get 2 songs: ideally 1 famous song + 1 latest single. With 30k attendance, Anisama is the perfect stage to introduce themselves then promote new stuff. Bigger names sing 3~5 songs (counting duets).
- Priority on anime than game songs, unless there’s no choice.
- Some artists have the privilege to sing whatever they want, anison or not.. like Nana, Yukarin, Minorin.. and lol Nao-nii too. ^^;
- Duets tend to be surprising (well that’s the point) with totally unexpected songs.. so take my guesses with a grain of salt =)

Tori no Uta done in 2008, so she could improvise more and hopefully getting 2 songs. Latest single is some dorama OST so scratch that.

Price is apparently 5,800 yen for both DVD and BD (uhhh hello, quality difference?). And 2 new PV which isn’t really new (sigh what did I say yesterday about Another Edit!).

Full version of Shinjuku Koma Zachou Kouen plus mini-live (5 songs). There were 3 sessions of Zachou Kouen 1, one is already in Ultimate Diamond DVD (the session with Sawashiro Miyuki), we might get either one of the rest: Fukuen Misato or Kuwatani Natsuko. Would be nice if we get all 3.

Just as I thought, also included inside is a lottery number for Zachou Kouen 2 in Nakano Sunplaza that was announced last month in Live Games. It’s a stage performance just like the first one in Shinjuku Koma (featured in Ultimate Diamond bonus DVD). Looking forward to it. :3
