How to Stalk Mizuki Nana in 1 Day
8 July 2009 was the day became a full-fledged Mizuki Nana maniacal stalker, lol. Uhm, just to make myself sounds slightly less criminal, I did not do this alone. Singaporean fans are just as insane (you know who you are!).
What you need to have:
1. Some money at least for transportation and food/drink.
2. A lot of Nana love.
3. Absolutely no shame.
So, let’s start our stalking missions!
Mission 01: Horikoshi Gakuen @ Nakano

Horikoshi Gakuen was, ahem, the high school Nana went to. It’s a rather well-known school for idols, allowing students to work and having flexible hours etc. I spotted this earlier this year during Fever trip, but the oyaji group wouldn’t want to be my partners in crime so I just took this photo.
It was about 15 minutes walk from south exit of Nakano Station.

I know it’s kimoi lol but anyway, at least I didn’t dress up as a high school girl to sneak inside the school, find my way to the library, and steal a certain yearbook with a certain Kondou Nana in it.
………It was a joke in case someone took me seriously.

But we did took one step inside, and quickly go before anyone mistakes us as perverts (tho we probably are).
Since this is located in Nakano, being the good wotaku we are, we spent some time in Nakano Broadway and ended up with stacks of supah heavy Nana-related magazines that did burden us for the rest of the trip lol.
Mission 02: Yoyogi Animation Gakuen @ Yoyogi

This is the sign in Yoyogi Station. I spot the goddess’ name rightaway, but you will also notice other famous names liek Tamura Yukari, Noto Mamiko, Tanaka Rie, Nogawa Sakura, Nakamura Yuuichi, etc just zoom in yourself.

Nana zoomed in for your convenience.

Thank goodness it’s located very near from the station, cos our legs were dying already.

Took some brochures just for fun. It surprised me a bit that a full course costs about 1 million yen per year, which is about the tuition fee for normal university course.. I mean, it doesn’t seem to worth the little chance of success and the little salary they will earn.
Mission 03: Sunshine City Planetarium @ Ikebukuro

1,200 yen for 50 minutes for a “healing program” with stars and Nana, fair price I think. There’s only one show a day at 7 pm, too bad for inakiken who had to catch a flight home.

There were quite a bunch of people who went there, mostly normal couples on a date, and some suspicious single men who stared at Nana’s autograph for a long time lmao. See, another reason why you need at least one partner in crime lol.
It was my first time going to a planetarium. Nana used her mature voice to narrate the stars thing and the water thing. Don’t ask me if I understand what she was talking about, but I felt healed.
I chuckled a bit when Nana said “H2O” tho. xD
About half an hour after the show starts and we were truly absorbed by Nana’s healing voice, a very familiar tune kicked in.. it’s Yume no Tsuzuki! I really did not expect to hear any Nana song so that was a great surprise. However, the real treat was a few minutes before the show ended, when the “sky” was full of stars, Hoshizora to Tsuki to Hanabi no Shita started playing. It was so beautiful and perfect that I cried. A bit.
Mission 04: Aubergine Restaurant @ Yotsuya-sanchome

All tired and hungry, nothing is better than restoring our energy with Nana Special Curry! We were planning to go here for lunch on the 6th, but the restaurant was full. It’s really small (bout 6 tables), even located in the 2nd floor.. but the queue was really long, along the stairs until outside the building.. some of them even wore Nana shirts. Another proof that I’m not crazy (alone) xD

Nana mentioned this restaurant a while back (early 2007?) that she loves the curry here and often orders take-away. Don’t look at the menu cos it’s not there, you gotta tell the waiter that you want “Nana SP”, the usual curry set that Nana customised herself.

I can’t say the food is mindblowing, but it’s actually pretty nice. The curry had diced chicken, carrot, onion, mushrooms, quail eggs, sweet potatoes, beancurds.. On the side you got a potato and sliced butter. Honestly I don’t think it justifies the $!#@! price they charged us, but oh well.

Proof that Nana was there for real! And that’s probably the spoon she used.
Too bad I couldn’t get the business card cos they ran out of it (guess why), but I got the matches instead. Uh at least it’s usable lol.
… lol scared/disgusted yet? xD
Tiring day for newborn stalkers, but we had real fun. Next stop, Nana’s hometown Ehime? …lol prob not unless there’s a concert. Let’s just hope we won’t get restraining order or something~ xD

And I was looking forward to creepy/illegal shots of Nana walking home from work, too. XDDDDD
just wtf… man if I was a betting individual, I would have owed j1m0ne some cash on this O_o
What’s the point if you don’t stalk Nana herself? :p What you did sounds more like a pilgrimage than stalking :p
what you say??????????
You should run a tour. I bet people would pay you to take them around these spots (in a non-creepy manner)
The locations are all pretty good for touring actually…Including the stop @ Nakano Broadway.
This was one creepy post xD. Anyway, interesting stuff….kinda (at least the planetarium part was the less scaring part to read lol)
wow…i’m kinda speechless, i want to see the nana-chan sign tho >.:)
I second omo’s suggestion of you running a tour. Sign me right up please!
And your moment at the planetarium with Hoshizora to Tsuki to Hanabi no Shita playing did sound tear-worthy. *notes it down as one of the TO GO places should I ever go to Japan…*
How much was the curry (Nana’s customization regardless, it sounds way better than the sad soulless instant gunk they dish up in our cafeteria =P).
P.S. And if you ever do decide to come stalking all the way down to Ehime, remember to contact me cos it’s closer to where I live than Tokyo XD
I’m a little scared.
It was nice seeing Yukarin’s name next to Nana-sama’s, kekeke. The planetarium thing actually looks pretty cool, so Nana is just an added bonus for me there.
I’ve never tried curry, so if I was trying it for the first time, it’d be awesome if it’s the same stuff your goddess loves…. !
Y didnt i see the names last time i went Damn >.<.
Didnt know they came out of Yoyogi, but i must say i m surprised
.
I just went for the Planetarium @ Ikebukuro. The show was GREAT and the song was SUPERB! Thanks Danie for ur post otherwise I would have missed this chance to watch it while I’m in japan.
this is a totally different level from stalking if you ask me @_@”
but hey, i admire your spirit there lol.
[...] such a lost cause like me, no meal is more suitable than Nana SP Curry! In case anyone forgets, this is from Nana’s favorite restaurant Aubergine in Yotsuya, a special curry set customized [...]
LOL Danie is a stalker
*_* that’s an holy route! you’re great!
