Future blues is one of the most astonishing things I've ever heard in popular music. Kanno Yoko in this music jumps musical genres with an offhanded grace that is astonishing and beautiful and at times very funny. Everyone I've ever played this music for is similarly blown away. Honestly, there is nothing else like it on earth. If, like me, your musical tastes are all over the map, Kanno Yoko's Cowboy BeBop/Knockin' on Heaven's Door/O.S.T. Future Blues will be like sugar to ants. I send out my profound admiration to Kanno Yoko - I hope someone can tell her. I listen to this soundtrack a real lot and it never ceases to amaze me.
