Live Academy Goods part 1
Phew finally I can sort my things properly.

These are all Live Academy goods (except the Nanoha pillows lol). Official list here.
Gosh my life would be easier if I could just tag them.
There aren’t that many goods this time, and the price makes more sense too. Now I’m really convinced that Fever Goods last year was just a money-sucking activity to fund Seibu Dome rent.
Lemme start with the ‘fun’ part: queuing for the goods.
Lesson 1 @ Fukuoka
I arrived at 7am, after getting a nice hot coffee. The weather was under 5 degree.

The brave people who arrived before 6.

I was here. Arrow pointing to my bag behind the tree and the frozen guy.

The rest of the people. Dunno where the line ended.

The booth opened at 12.30pm. Done my shopping about half an hour later. Lol guy in black jacket drooling at the framed calendars.
Lesson 2 @ Niihama
Arrived at 5am this time, though the weather was under 0 degree. -_-;
I LOVED how Niihama was really boring that Nana’s live was such a big deal -the city tourism people put signs on street trees.

Welcome home, Nana! 800 m until the live hall.
Thanks to the 2-months Kouhaku campaign, I srsly had Nana’s voice in my head saying ã€Œãƒ©ã‚¤ãƒ–ä¼šå ´ã¾ã§ã€ã‚ã¨ï¼˜ï¼ï¼m ♥々 or maybe it was the brain freeze causing a temporary schizophrenia.

Click for signs from 1200m away to the destination. The ones without number were to change directions (å·¦ left or å³ right). The last one said “it’s just there!” which was really the last tree next to the hall.
There should be more since it started from the station. After queuing I was too tired to walk back and check, and they were removed after the concert. Oh well.
The best was the one near a traffic light, because a car stopped and the driver had this funny look (“why the F is this girl taking photos of a tree while grinning at 4 am?!”)

Cold dark dawn that would go well with a nice warm bed. But at the bright side, there were only about 10-15 guys, and I was (finally) the first girl in line!

Staff arrived about 8am to make sure the queue was okay. The big red truck carrying all the Nana goods arrived at 10am with more staffs to set things up.

FC ads with this cruel English info attached. ^^; Cruel because this shows they know we exist, but couldn’t care less lazy and/or their Engrish sucks barrs. Sending FC books overseas just needs more shipping money that none of us would mind, right?
I overheard some Japanese said “It must be hard for the foreigners.” …you have no idea. D=
A bunch of frozen people. Ignore the Japs shaky ramblings lol. People standing in parking lot left their bags in queue to enjoy the sunshine.
Funny moments when locals were passing by -some, especially the elderly, stopped and asked what was actually happening. xD
They finally let us in at 1pm sharp. So I survived 8 freaking hours! Makes the goods more valuable than they actually are.
The booth looked the same with Fukuoka’s, just slightly smaller. But Niihama got much nicer stuff:

I WANT DIZ IN MY ROOM. Not like I have space for that, but WANT.

DIZ TOO.

Right, that definitely looks RED.
On to the goods, finally.
Must-get-no-matter-what goods.

- School calendar 2010-2011. I couldn’t stop thanking Nanaism deity for this blessing.
- Brown hardcover pamphlet book. Aheeeem.
- Live Academy clear file for buying 2,000 yen worth of CD. I picked a random Nanoha SS orz.
- Silent Bible clear file for another random Nanoha SS.
- Postcards set A, B, C and their duplicates lol.
Surprisingly-very-useful goods.

..also the most expensive item, but it was really useful. Many compartments. I used this until the end of my trip. What if it gets dirty? I’ve prepared a waterproof rucksack cover to protect it during rainy days. xD
Shirts (+ towel)

Front sides.
- Shirt A: looked best on paper, before I realized the things written are the 4 Engrish motto thing lol.
- Shirt B: my favourite. Shiny logo in full glory.
- Shirt C: just because it’s nm7 I honestly thought Nana would wear it on encore. She didn’t.

Back sides.
- Shirt A: looking artsy, listing the lesson dates and venues.
- Shirt B: Gosh how many times do they want to put those Engrish phrases in?
- Shirt C: listing the lesson dates and venues that you can actually read.
Other goods.

- Penlight.
- Totally useless straps. Might look good on the bag, but can’t risk it getting lost D:
- Wristband A (red) and B (blue). I have a thing on these so it’s a good buy.

- The most expensive necktie ever. But the fabric was really nice and Nana wore it on the encore.
- Cap which I actually use.
- Bonus 2 pins that came with the cap. Looks better on Shirt C rather than the cap.
Special goods: Curry Senbei.

Curry-flavored rice cracker with Nanette decor. Ten in a box. Most people bought at least 2 boxes -one to eat and one to be kept rotten. I didn’t, so I’ll never know how it tastes like.
Nanaca!!

You get one card for every item bought. There are 7 different types and 1 rare card.
Might be reason why the postcards were sold out; it was the cheapest item on the list and people just want the extra Nanaca.
I got all 7 of the normal set, but not the rare card (which is school-nurse Nana ffff-).. and sew freakin’ many extras of the schoolgirl Nana.
Venue-limited goods!

Left from Fukuoka, right from Niihama. From top:
- The paper thing that flew from the sky during encore. Zoom to look at the writing. It says “水樹奈々ã«ã‹ã‹ã£ã¦ã“ã„ã£ã£(≧▽≦)/” (Mizuki Nana ni kakatte koi~) and “Live Academy (a Nanette)”
- Back side of the shirt with the venue name ♪ Scroll up to the group shot for ugly front side.
- The stationary bag -each had a pen, a ruler, and a mini-notebook. How useful. And yes the difference was just the colors.
- Pins.
Next up! Calendar and pamphlet shots, Nanaca and postcards scans.. I feel so lazy just by thinking about it

O_O 0 degree? i will be frozen in to ice!!! >_<
waaa…Shirt B is the best of all
(what wrong with the Engrish phrases? XD)
I wan to steal your goods!!! XP
those goods really made me jealous xD
I wanna one of them too~~
need a picture of your lucky hand
i would really want that bag.
was watching Nana animelo torrent from jpopsuki and i noticed around 2:31~2:35 a penlight flew through the air
it must have cost a large sum of money.>,<
Lesson 5 is 11 more days..!!
I’d give anything to be able to buy calendars like that…I saw some pictures of it on Seiup a few weeks back and proceeded to rage. It really is depressing how much it sucks that people outside Japan get neglected, even though logistically it makes sense (can’t imagine how horrificly international mailing would complicate their current system, as well as how they would handle situations where things were mailed wrong or lost via transit to a whole other country – better to just avoid that altogether). I’m sure we’d be willing to take the risks, and even pay several times the amount native members do. Just give us a chance. ;_; *looks at product page for calendar again, FFFF @ megane+stockings+nurse outfit Nana*
I think I asked this before too – you willing to sell any of your extra Nanaca? XD; Oh, and how’s the actual quality of the backpack? When I was looking at the live goods page it didn’t seem like the quality would be that good…thin cloth/plastic that would get torn up or worn out pretty easily. I was kind of surprised you actually use it. I personally would have just packed it away with the rest, and brought/used my own pack (which costs more than the Live one @_@ – but isn’t special print, so therefore expendable :3).
@ultimaxslc: whose act was that? That’s a very common accident, just 2nd to “the guy behind you hitting your head”.
@Socratics101: The bag isn’t very strong, I wouldn’t use it for heavy duty, but for travelling it’s good. I’m a sucker for many compartments (passport, JR Pass, wallet, iPod, bottle, PSP, etc are organized!). It’s thin cloth, but decent enough. It’s 5500 yen afterall ^^;
And actually yes if I ever finish sorting my stuff (my room looks like a tsunami just hit it), I am considering to sell my duplicate stuff. Believe me there are a shitload of them
on the 2nd glance i think the bag is good enough, but i kinda doubt it’ll be strong enough to bring my medical textbooks ._.
if you’re going to sell your live diamond bag, i’ll take it!
danie do u have extra nanaca from live diamond.?
hehe
I remember the guy next next to me wearing a rainbow of wristbands (dating back to Live… Whoknows XD) it made his T-shirt long sleeved.
I hate neckties but so getting that next!! (in Lesson 6, ORZ)
.-= issa-sa’s last blog .. MIZUKI NANA’S LIVE ACADEMY (Fukuoka) – Best CNY/Valentine’s I’ll probably ever have, EVER =-.
@reinforce: Yes I do
Just wait…
@issa-sa: Oh that’s from the FC Event IV gachapons. I got all the rainbow colours too
just not as crazy to wear it like that.
didnt know whose act. it flew from quite far back. from the screen it appeared halfway from the right and landed somewhere near the center
@ultimaxslc – I’m not surprised something like that could happen. I mean, you’re technically in a huge moshpit for upwards of 3 hours in a row, much of it standing/yelling/waving your arms like a crazy person. I’d imagine your hands would get pretty sweaty, and if you weren’t holding on to your glowstick/penlight/flashlight for dear life a rigorous song could make you lose your grip for a second – and oop it’s 5 rows in front of you, hitting someone on the back of their head. In those cases I would just pretend like it didn’t happen and grab another one out of my bag right away. If I invested a couple hundred dollars in them like danie did though…I’d be scrambling to find it. (I do hope you use wriststraps on those things just in case
)
Hi~I am a Chinese girl,I love NANA,too.
You are so lucky to go to NANA’s live.I always dream to go to,but I can not go now,I have to study. What a pity it is!
This summer vacation,I will go to Japan.I hope to spend a nice vacation.
Maybe my English is not very good, you know someone loves nana, that is enough.
@vesper: make sure you match your summer vacation with Nana’s summer live and animelo 2010
You are a hardcore fan. I’d be hard pressed to find the will to stand for 8 hours in the freezing cold to wait to get into the concert hall. D:
*nosebleeds*
.-= digigatou’s last blog .. Selling anime figurines – Natsuki Kruger 1/8, Black Saber [Extremely Rare items] =-.
Thanks a lot Danie for the great info tour going at there. I wish that I was there.
That was kinda harsh on the Foreigner card (<_<;) but they really realized that we, the Non-Japanese Nana fans do exist. They should be thankful for that ‘coz Nana have supporters from around the globe.
I’ve been wondering, since they don’t sell orange penlight there, does convenience store (7-11) sell them? No idea how to otagei in lesson 7 without orange penlight
