LIVE FEVER Goods

First of all, here’s the most idiotic thing you’d ever heard.

I missed my flight.

Well, it was dirt cheap (30k yen one-way) but still I went orz. I arrived 50 minutes before the plane took off.. more than enough time to do whatever, but they refused to let me in.. leaving me with a shitload of stuff I must carry back, 214 yen in my wallet, and a real fever. No use crying over spilled milk, so I decided to stay for another week, waiting for the next cheap flight.. and is trying to get a ticket to Nana’s Music Japan studio live and Minorin’s first Parade in Isehara. Wish me luck!

On to the goods..

..I’m shipping these soon so here’s a quick review.

The Queue

This map shows how bad the queue was. Thicker red lines represent a long snake queue. Felt kind of stupid we had to go upstairs and down again to the booth..

The view from upstairs.

The Goods.

Refer to the official goods page if you want to know the price tags, but please don’t remind me.

- Pamphlet. Who doesn’t want pages full of Nana’s quality photos? Must love the 70s fashion theme!

- Postcard set A + B. Gives you a hint on what’s inside the pamphlet..

- 2009 Calendar.. or should I say a collection of seven superb B2-sized posters? Will take detailed pics like what I did with Minorin’s after I finally reach home.. I can’t wait to frame July-Aug poster~ xD

- Muffler Towel. Must get for the towel songs.
- Denim Bag. From the pics alone it looked like a grocery bag to me. But in reality it’s pretty solid, definitely useful to carry all the live “equipments”.

- T-shirt (black S). Wore this on day 2. Pretty good design, though the S size is still pretty big.
- Celebrity T-shirt (black S). Wore this on day 3. Someone please explain to me why this thing is freaking expensive?
a) Because of the so-called “shining rhinestones”
b) Because only Nana wore this in the encore
c) Because they know the fans will buy this anyway
d) All of the above

- Windbreaker (Free size) ..is freaking big I sort of want my money back now. I’d prefer some official happi coat a la Yukarin.

- Kirakira Penlights (x3). I bought 2 for both hands. Then I was afraid the battery won’t last until the third day, so I got a spare. In the end, it was unnecessary with a lot of songs using ultra oranges.. I used 30+ UO for 3 days, would get more if only they don’t cost 200 yen each.
- Wristband. I originally only wanted black, though I had the chance to get the limited gold/silver ones (that gets sold out in less than an hour). Who knows I’d screw my budget plans and get everything in the next day? T_T

- Mug Cup with Live Fever design. Obviously will never be used.

- Key Holder and Strap. I like the strap a lot: NANA☆
- Acrylic Pass Case. Believe it or not, this is the first non-limited stuff that got sold out in the first day.

Budokan Limited Goods.

What happens if you don’t camp out earlier. But most of the normal goods also got sold out by the last night.

- Limited T-shirts. Featuring Nanette-san (the weird bird mascot Nana usually draws). Left to right are shirts from day 1 to 3. Love the blue one!

- Limited Pins. Better than what I originally imagined~ <3 The second pin is so cute.

- Ice Tray. Most people will go WTF with an anime singer selling an ice tray as a concert goods, but what can you expect from someone who sold a “curry fork” before? And this thing got sold out anyway.

- Special Fever Photos. Get one pic for buying at least 2000 yen worth of Nana’s CD/DVD (none of them I don’t already have.. guess what I bought!). The one with autograph obviously got sold out, meaning everyone bought 2nd/3rd/77th copies too.

Lessons learned:
- Don’t bother selecting which to buy or not. After hours of torture in 2 degree rainy morning, you’d want to bring home everything.
- Get used to convenience store bento.

that is just too many you bought there -_-…no wonder you have to ship it haha XD
nice review… Nana…too many…my eyes go @.@ when I see all the stuff

  3. Hope you are doing ok there, Danie. Getting a fever in that kind of crazy temperature is no joke.

    Lovely items~
I have no idea why the ice tray and the ‘curry fork’ were there before/now.
<3 the keychains and the t-shirt the most. Especially with the little nanette ones XD

  5. houkoholic houkoholic says:

Nana’s favourite food is curry rice (Japanese curry), so the curry spork “made sense”.
The ice tray makes Nanette shaped ice cubes, so that is the suppose tie-in.

I want that 2009 calender XP Love the shots. Can it only be purchased at Live Fever or can I can also order it online somewhere?

@Julius: Yeah, I feel better now, thanks. ^^

@houkoholic: Favorite food? Curry is her obsession.

@Makino: Like in the previous years, most likely they will sell the calendars left-overs on the next FC magazine.. some proxy service may help you to get it, but I’m not sure. jfanclub did offer Fever goods orders, albeit in a very high price. Try to ask them once the next Nanamaga is out?

Wow. I want all of those. I’m impressed with the Tshirt designs especially. No curry this time?

I’m thinking of going to the Sebu live this summer. I guess I better come at 6AM if I want the goods -____-.

Have fun on your extra time in JP and make the best of it. If you go to the Music Japan live, can you tell Koda Kumi to act skanky again?

*grabby hands* Love the postcards, calendar, and T-shirt designs! I wouldn’t mind having that ice tray too.

Also, Nanette FTW. Did she create the bird herself or is it from somewhere else?

Me and a friend are planning to catch the live this summer… Could you kindly point the way to the ticket sales when they are out? (Zero experience in this area and we can’t read much Japanese. ://)

I will gladly buy the windbreaker from you if you don’t want it :P
