Mizuki Nana LIVE DIAMOND Report <3 <3

It’s getting old but yeah I just wanna say I love Nana to death. And that I was too freaking tired and sleepy I fell asleep writing this last night.

LIVE DIAMOND was surely a blast!

Arrived in Seibu Dome couple of mins before 2 pm.. and gawd there were looooots of people there. I forgot to take pix of the crowd tho, lol, cos was busy trying to meet with sum awsm bloggers cos all wotaku Asians look the same lol. I’m always happy to meet a cool bunch of Nana fans! And I hope issa-sa didn’t miss the train back home lol.

There were too many people that buying water in a convenience store was impossible. And apparently Australian and American can’t tell that Aquarius is not water lol, tho the colour was a bit dodgy.

Anyway. I entered the Dome few mins before 4, as predicted the live was a tad off the schedule, 2 hours weren’t enough to get about 25-30k people seated.. OK to be honest I sneaked a shot.

And that sweet little orange arrow is pointing to where I sat! Mwahahah.

Lol anyway real live report.

Opening
It started with an opening video of a baseball match between Nana and a gaijin. Nana was the pitcher and of course she beat the shit outta the gaijin.. tho she srsly threw the ball like she was playing bowling. Nana needs to watch Cross Game.

01. Miracle☆Flight
…was unexpected. I really thought it would get opened by MARIA & JOKER, but oh well the song really made the fans go high. The loli dancers from Live Fighter are back too! But my eyes were fixated at Nana, cos she wore this cute blue mini-dress and has the smile of an angel. Ok I’m still deluded.

02. Aoi Iro
Unexpected! part 2. But I’ve always wanted to hear the “maybe” directly from her. <3 And oh I started to realise that the speakers for stand/balcony seats are lagging by 1 second, cos the cheers were a bit late. I hope it wasn’t really a problem for fans up there.

She welcomed us to DIAMOND~~ and announced awsm news: a new single for White Album and Tales of Symphonia the movie! AAAAAANNNDDDDD DVD and Blu-ray for LIVE FEVER and LIVE DIAMOND! It’s something like Museum x Universe then. It’s a definite must buy! BANZAI~~! BANZAI~~!

03. Anone ~mamimume mogacho~
Nana took off the blue skirt, leaving a very nice legs shorts on. Did I tell you I love summer? Anyway it was nice being one of the monkeys in Seibu Dome. I don’t particularly like the song but the wotagei call was simply the best! xD

04. The place of happiness
More good old songs! I’m starting to really really dig this live cos I thought I’d just experience FEVER again in a bigger hall.. apparently not.

05. Aoki Hikari no Hate -ULTIMATE MODE-
Finally a song from the new album! Good choice to start~

06. Nostalgia
Woooh couldn’t believe I can hear this song live. ;_;

Band Intro
..there is no Cherry Boys for Live Diamond.. we get Ongaku Senshi Cherrybo Seven! Video of seven sentai guys each represented by a rainbow colour lol. Ryu-tan looked awfully funny in that Cherrybo Purple tight costume. Kenny looked good in blue, but Tomu-kun was LOL PINK. That must be the most hilarious Cherry Boys skit I’ve ever seen.

07. Chinmoku no Kajitsu
Nana reappeared on stage again with a huuuuge blue dress. Liek huge. Not in the good way. But I’m still in hippy mode now so who cares. Hm, I believe this epic song deserves an ultra orange so I did, tho blue lights still dominated the dome.

08. Zankou no Gaia
..was srsly better than the one in Animelo last year, prob cos the whole hall was full of Nanaists? xD

-MC2-
Epic costume, no matter good or bad, is the right time for “mawatte” calls. Just like Fever, all fans must turn around first, or she won’t do it… tho she definitely enjoyed the moment and did another turn lol, what a tsundere!

09. STAND
One very old song that she last sung live 6 years ago in Live Attraction, a really nice surprise tho.

10. Shounen
OK hearing it live wasn’t so bad, but I still dislike the song. Wait, I hate the performance too, cos she was on the other side of the stage so I couldn’t see !@#!#

11. Futari no Memory
Totally made up for Shounen.

Video
Nana was walking her lovely chihuahua Kei-tan, strolling around.. stopped by a baseball field and watched it while her hair was swept by the breeze…. the scene was really a beautiful I drooled.

12. PERFECT SMILE
Aww flower costume! Not one giant-sunflower skirt of Live Fighter, but lots-of-flowers skirt. Sweet song~ She strolled down from the stand seats, and finally back to my stage mwahaha.

..ee, I see Itaruvic got an acoustic guitar, a small setup with a chair.. *gasp* Acoustic Corner is back! She said she will start with a very meaningful song for her.. a song from Nanoha..

13. innocent starter (acoustic)
and I shed manly tears. The acoustic version made the song sounded even more gentle, soothing, and.. *sobs* I WANT THE BLURAY NAO.

14. NAKED FEELS (acoustic)
..lol I started to feel the Live Universe vibes.

A special guest was introduced.. one person that we all have been praying for, harper Agematsu Mika! Looking adorable as always, she also promoted her latest album that includes a cover for Super Generation. I wonder if that sneaky ad is actually working cos oops it might be on my shopping list now. Anyway everyone knew why she was there..

15. Shin Ai (acoustic)
I kept saying I want this since few months back.. and oh gawd do I have a yuri bond power with Nana or whut. Can’t describe by words sry. xD And oh, I put the ultra white to use.

Dancers Intro
Twice the amount of Team Yoda. Who cares if they can’t dance, Mika is sew cute.

16. Gimmick Game
Futuristic costume with a mic headset! Diet song starts! I think I lost few kilos!

One of my favourite Nana dance song~

18. Take a shot
I wonder if actually they were planning to put Inside of Mind but gyah it’s a Sonoda. I like this a lot but gyah no Dancing in the Velvet Moon then..

Mentioned what a diet song Gimmick Game was.. and can’t remember lol, cos I got a nice view of the.. ahem.

19. BRAVE PHOENIX
If FEVER had all Nanoha openings, DIAMOND had a lot of Nanoha inserts, which are actually better so go go Nano-IN~ I was impressed with the stage setup.. real fire during the high part of the song, and water fountain for calm verses..

Video/Skit
One guy is being attacked by a bunch of men in black, yawn I didn’t sign up for this action shit. The guys actually appeared on stage and start fight-dancing or sth. But wait, someone comes to rescue him!

Nana kicked their sorry asses awsmly, reminds me of Hayate no Nana (lol I’m supposed to recap that DVD but oh well). Umm, the dress colour and fabric are a bit off, but I love the design, it’s something like Justice to Believe’s dress, but smaller hence better. The next song is totally predictable by now lol.

20. MARIA&JOKER
Really, really, really good live. We were discussing bout how to wota-call this song since it has weird tunes and not really call-able.. but woh the wotas managed.

21. Justice to Believe
Just because of the dress? xD Damn I didn’t buy ultra red sticks.

I srsly thought she would announce that the next song is the last one or sth.. cos I counted there were more than 20 songs performed.. but no, she just wanted us to jump higher with all we got..

22. ETERNAL BLAZE
..so of course we did. That was my 5th time wotage-ing to this song live, and bout my 4081249th time listening to it, and it still rocked my world.

Skit
Some guys playing drums/taiko. I sat down and drank my 3rd bottle of Aquarius to recover my low HP. Quickly changed the Fenix lights batteries cos it started to dim out.

23. Etsuraku Camellia
Exposed shoulder viewed from the best angle: the back (cos she was in the middle stage). Yes she wore the kimono thing, without the ugly black thing, so that was perfect.

24. Bring it on!
Rocking x2. No wonder my Fenix lights ran out of battery.

25. Trickster
Another favourite! She went really high, and the stage set-up was crazy.

She finally talked about her deceased father.. she didn’t in FEVER, so she must be more mentally-prepared now.. but she still cried. Lots of people shouting “gambatte” for her, which just made her cry even more I think.. and soon after we all cried too cos the next song will be the last song. D:

26. Yume no Tsuzuki
Predicted. And still lovely, tho not as strong as Sing Forever. This song may not be the best ballad she has, but the live version was really emotional.. so I kinda like it now.

-ENCORE-
Tell you what, I ran to the toilet and broke my sandals. I’m retarded woohoo.

27. POWER GATE
She popped out from the right side in a stand trolley thing and went around the Dome, before coming back to the front stage to rock!

The next song will be a new towel song taken from the album!

28. Brand New Tops
..which is not a really good towel song, I prefer Be Ready! or PROTECTION a lot more. Heh at least the fans can call to the Oo-oo-oo-oo~ but gawd the next song just killed my brain.

29. DISCOTHEQUE
I really thought this song was impossible to get in cos of the Sonoda jerk. Thank you so much Goddess Nana for this miracle. Nothing much to say, except.. chulu-chulu-chulu pa-ya-pa!

The concert really ended, no more songs… only instrumental version of Brand New Tops, which isn’t as awsm as FEVER’s DISCOTHEQUE that got everyone to sing along. Anyway time for freebies! A baseball dome so the bonus must be a signed ball! 77 of them! She had this bazooka thing to shoot the balls so it’s way fairer for them. I missed my chance by 2 seats in front.. and then again 3 seats behind.. but wat really upset me was FAHK I WAS ONLI FEW STEPS AWAY FROM THE WRISTBAND. !@#!#$! Nana sweat missed orz.

Overall thoughts..
29 songs. Twenty. Fahking. Nine. Songs. With 2 songs more than Live Museum, this is really the longest concert Nana ever had, clocking at 4 hours 30 minutes! I want those hours back in my life. ;__;

I’m really satisfied with the song choices too, tho damn Astrogation and Dancing in the velvet moon got written out, and I really really want to see Mr. Bunny! live.. Maybe next time, I’m 777% sure there will be a 30th birthday concert or something next January to welcome her to the 17-sai world~ <3

After the live..
The staff organised which blocks can go out of the Dome first.. starting from the stand seats down to the Arena blocks.. probably to prevent people killing each other to get in the train, but anyway waiting was never a problem when instrumental version of Miracle Flight was playing in the background. I was amongst the few still-on-crack-mode fans who waved lights for that lol.

Just to give you a glimpse on how awsm the stage setup was! And that sitting up here must suck lol.

Also met up with a blog reader / cool kid (yes you’re a kid!) Etherlite, and went for a nice ramen dinner in Ikebukuro with the same old Nanaota bunch too.. and look we found a nice ad in Ikebukuro station!

This is the same bonus poster we got for buying in the CD section. Still looks cool tho! And see what they did there with the tiny “7″ logo on top of the poster.

Some pix of Anikan R special Nana edition that was given free for all concert-goers. There were related others too but I’m not interested lol.

Nana live history and album collection. Sigh the first few lives didn’t get to DVD.

Anyway I gotta go to buy new sandals and go to that curry restaurant Nana mentioned before. No I’m not a stalker so I won’t go NANA SAT HERE BEFORE *sniff sniff* D:
