‹ Blazing Mugen Cover Art.. +NANA PARTY update~!! •
LIKE ALI PROJECT SCARY.
WTF who the hell is the director I wanna torture him like he did to me.
I never thought the day will come when I immediately think of Takarano Arika when I see a NANA PV. Or when I didn’t press replay directly after watching it the first time. I’m not saying it’s that bad, at least it doesn’t look cheap, but they could hire me instead and I’d direct a better PV.

At least Nana looked hawt in this early shots (before we realise the scene behind her).
However, indeed we get more action than the boring Shin Ai PV. Dark corridors check, falling crow feathers check, twin gothic lolis check, irrelevant masks check, weird boxing gloves (oh wait that’s a part of the costume right?) check.
ORZ.
EDIT.
Okay sorry I give up. I was gonna do a separate post to compare the PV like the nosebleed fun I did before, but this time, the significant other is just too artistic for my taste. Please watch at your own risk (mute recommended).
It’s not that similar (obviously Mugen is not disturbing), but the striking resemblance lies on the shooting (hence I blamed the director). I mean those shimmering / blinking gothic shots that happen quite often in both PV.
I hate the moving shots in the corridors and multiply shadow thing. Brain too damaged to construct better words sorry so har screencap:

Say this is not scary.
Anyway.

TONIGHT WE DINE IN HELL.

THERE IS NO JUSTICE IN THE WORLD!!! orz
Seriously, just when I thought Nana was on a good run of excellent PVs, *this* had to made instead. I pray the next PV will be uber so we can forget about Mugen’s afterwards ^^;;

lol. Should have seen this coming ever since we saw the new photos.
This looks maybe more like a ‘Dark Alice in Wonderland’ theme than one of ALI PROJECT’s. Either that or Nana is acting as an eternally-young 500 year old witch who haunts the mansion as a result of a tragic, unrequited love. Uh.
PV is definitely of a better standard than her others, no wonder it took so many freaking hours to shoot. Though I think I would agree that you would have done a better job were you the director. The thing about Nana is that she’s pulled in so many different directions, and what with her saying that her ’style’ is that she has a lot of styles, I think fans who aren’t otaku (mainstream people?) or who don’t stalk her regularly would find it difficult to follow.
I think the PV kinda fits the song, though. And I do like it to some degree. <3 Definitely surprising!

You know that mizuki nana and Takarano Arika are going to duet this song in Animelo 2010

@lishan1988: I pray to god or whatever celestial being that affects how things take place that this does not come to fruition.
Anyways, I really have not taken to this latest single, and sadly, the PV didn’t really do anything to assuage that. Especially not after that comparison, since after Arika’s epic fail at Animelo 2008, I don’t enjoy Nana Mizuki and ALI Project being mentioned in the same sentence. Can we all pretend this never happened and go back to looping Etsuraku Camellia while looking forward to LIVE FEVERxDIAMOND? I’d really like that. That look she gave the camera right before it panned to the picture was pretty good though. Almost made up for the mediocrity/creepiness of the rest of it. Almost.
(I hope this PV took up the quota for “random Caucasian loli” for the next few years, I really have no clue why she has so many in her videos…worked for Innocent Starter and ETERNAL BLAZE, but not here.)

IMO the PV suits the song’s theme well, but there are several ugly parts that ruin it: red ball, lolis with masks, nana-with-spider-hands, etc.
and i don’t like her hair in this PV, also i think long skirt will make her more elegant
October 3, 2009 at 8:54 pm
i hated the red ball part. it had TOTALLY nothing to do with the song right? it was like some bright colourful thing that popped out of nowhere.
but Nana looked wayy elegant in that dark blue dress. <3<3<3
i thought something was gonna pop out at the end of the PV to scare the hell out of all of us :/

When i read the description of “ALI-Project scary” I don’t want to believe it. But it is true, very true… O_o
and i don;t like the black-red costume, what’s with the paw (or boxing glove)? @_@

I can’t even re-watch this. Only saw it one and a half times.
Nana still reminds me of Cruella De Vil. I’m lucky I didn’t get nightmares last night.
…. So, when that red ball thing appeared, I automatically thought of “RAISING HEART, ONEGAI!” and then stopped and realized:
I hope the Nanoha movie single is ten folds better, if not more.

Lol I like this PV! There’s a pair of lolis! Lol. I realized Nana’s epic song PV loves using white girl lolis like innocent starter and Eternal Blaze. Now they double it with a twins! Lol. And that masks they are wearing are awsm. I think the PV is great! Or maybe that’s just my fever and flu speaking on the behalf of my sanity and consciousness whee!

Oh my goodness, nightmare fuel.
Actually this reminded me a lot of Disneyland’s the Haunted Mansion. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Too bad Mugen doesn’t make much of an impact on first listen (like Shin Ai).

Just saw the PV. Didn’t like it. I just hope the song grows on me in the near future, cause at first listen it’s true that it doesn’t sound special at all.
Btw, I hope Nana releases a single where she doesn’t really so much on her falsetto skills (I think I’ve already said this), cause even though she excels at that, it gets repetitive.

I meant *rely on her falsetto*, sorry for the typo
