Mugen streamed! Bluray announced! There goes money..

I was stuck with crap internet since last week thanks to the crap holiday motel.. if I couldn’t open my email, let alone streaming Nico orz. Icewolf-kasumi beat me to the announcement, but I extracted just Mugen, enjoy!

Now I see how this costume (from White Album concert) fits the song!

It’s different compared to the usual Agematsu/Nana collaboration, not just to Shin Ai. It feels really dramaticized and emotional, befitting the “unreal / fantasy” theme of the song. I really got into it after a few repeats.

As anyone would have said, it’s totally not Shin Ai. For once, it sounds to me more progressive rock than ballad, especially with the guitar solo. I don’t know how many times I’ve said this, but Nana really excels in conveying her feelings to a song. I feel emo already :P But yeah, I think Mugen represents the painful side of love, compared to the hopeful Shin Ai.

I also can’t imagine waving white lights to this song. I’m thinking more like medium-tempo wave of red lights, or maybe even UO.

Can’t wait for the PV and hearing this live in the FC Event! xD

Another track of the new single has been announced, titled Dear Dream.

It’s gonna be the new ending theme for the retarded TBS show “Card Gakuen”, the one that has Gimmick Game as its opening theme.

The song is composed and written by Shihori, the cute 1980-born who brought us the epic Chinmoku no Kajitsu, my personal fave track in Ultimate Diamond.

Also a good news: annoucement of NANA MIZUKI LIVE DIAMOND×FEVER! It will be released on December 23, 2009.

The awsm package will include obviously her longest concert ever clocking at 4.5 hours LIVE DIAMOND @ Seibu Dome, and the final day of LIVE FEVER tour @ Budokan (fff–not the day when she cried for the birthday present / Shin Ai topping Oricon). We also get both days’ Making Of.

First press, as usual, will come housed in special packaging.

Here comes the price.

Bluray (3 discs): 9,900 yen
DVD (5 discs): 9,900 yen

The number of discs is surprising, I must say. But with King Records Quality and at least 8 hours of Nana and probably few flashes of my face *runs*, I think the price is fair. Tho I can’t help but cough blood, thinking about the doubles I might be getting..

..but anyway, I just hope the Christmas rush won’t delay my package again. I surely don’t want people to think I always look depressed on Christmas like last year (well, waiting for Fighter BD made me anxious).

at first, mugen feels a little bit weird, but around 0:30 it suddenly gets nicer and nicer :)

could you please list the store bonuses of the blu-ray from each stores like when you did with ultimate diamond? Thx before :)

  2. anonymouse anonymouse says:

I think she only wore that red costume when she sings Rina’s songs, though. She had two outfits, from what I can see from the photos. :*

I agree about mugen being ‘dramaticized’. I still don’t know what to think about it; it’s not to my usual tastes, for sure. Will have to wait till the PV to decide. :D

  3. Sebastian Sebastian says:

I’ve only heard Mugen once, first of all thank you for uploading it…I like it music-wise, but I’m not that into Nana’s performance yet (maybe I’m in the minority here, but sometimes I wish she would really more in her powerful voice and a little less in her wonderful falsetto). I’d have to say though, at first I wasn’t into Shin Ai very much and now I love it.

Her next dvd is pricey as hell, but I wish I can get it eventually. I also hope the concert is as epic as the duration of it promises.

Btw, how much is usually a “normal” ticket to a Nana’s concert and what are the chances of getting one in time? (of course, online-wise since most of us live overseas)

  4. r3 r3 says:

    Agematsu Mika where?

Only listened to the song twice so far, but I think it’s okay. I still like Shin Ai more so far.

I’ll probably like it more when WA2 starts airing because it’ll be one of the three things I’ll look forward to watching that show if Nana-sama is wrong about S2 being more fun.

PS – DID YOU UNCOVER THE MYSTERY BEHIND CHIAKING’S BREASTAGES?

  5. pure_awesome pure_awesome says:

wait, its confirmed that it’s only the last day of LIVE FEVER? i want all 3 days T.T and hear Gozen Reiji no Baby Doll live…

  6. Fuyumachi Fuyumachi says:

Hope the Live Diamond’s BD Reg. is compatible w/ my PS3.. BD Incompatibility sux >_>

About Mugen.. Have only listened it 1x here, not bad :D

  7. Socratics101 Socratics101 says:

@Fuyumachi – all BDs should be compatible with any PS3, such was the way the format was made – even though there are regions, BD isn’t locked like DVD was. At least that’s how it’s supposed to be…

As for the song…first time listening to it, I’m enjoying her performance, but I don’t think the atmosphere and instrumentals support her voice all that much. They almost seem to clash at times. Oh well, I’ll wait for the PV like a few others are doing then.

  8. danie~ danie~ says:

@Etherlite: Will do, but the stores will only release their tokuten details online near the release date.. so just tune in.

@Sebastian: Varies depending on the hall and the scale. FEVER was a tour of 7 legs with its finale only in Budokan, so it cost only 6000yen each. But DIAMOND was a one-time grand-scale festival in Seibu Dome, so it was 7777yen. No vendors sell to oversea customers tho, so you need a friend/middleman.

If you’re talking about auctioning front-row ticket, it depends on your luck and timing, really, it can vary from 5k to 100k. I got a 2nd row in Fever for only 20k, but Diamond tix almost killed me.

@pure_awesome: I hope they include a footage for that. It was really a super sweet song.

@Fuyumachi: Socratics101 is right, most BD aren’t locked. Never seen any locked anime/concert BD before.
