Nana Mizuki Live Journey 2011 Plans

Mostly for my personal record, so it’s very messy. Feel free to skip this. ^^;

I predicted Nana would have a summer tour after a big live in winter, but didn’t expect it would be the LONGEST Nana Tour in history. ^^;; All Japan Tour lasting 3 months of 14 lives in 12 different cities!

I jumped with joy when she announced it on Live Grace, before realizing it’d be real pain in the ass planning (and paying) for this. Well at least I’m in the right country so there’s no “international flight cost” whatsoever. xD

Notes.
-Gotta be in Tokyo in weekdays.
-Travel. NO Shinkansen! (no JR Pass for me). Bus or flight.
-Goods. Under 35k. No overnight queuing rule is enforced..
-Personal ura-theme Curry Journey! xD
-Sight-seeing if possible?

Recently added to my misery: Faylan’s 2nd live tour confirmed: 6 lives! …..4 days covered by Live Journey orz. The remaining 2 might kill me orz.

300k is a big money, but for the course of 14 lives, 12 cities, in 3 months.. it’s not too bad. ^^; I mean, usually this money will only get me 1 and a half trip to Japan! Depending on monetary condition I’d probably skip sight-seeing, but isn’t the point of this Journey is to enjoy the places too? :3

..

For overseas fans.
I’ve easily thought of several routes depending on your holiday/budget. Travelling from overseas means the most useful thing ever invented: JR Pass! If you can only make a 3-4 days trip, I’d suggest 2x Sendai for small halls or 2x Nagoya for stadium. After attending both biggest and smallest Nana lives, I honestly prefer smaller halls. Nana’s singing quality is consistent regardless of where she performs, and since we can see those showy skits in BD later, the important part is being MUCH closer to Nana! :3

Route 1: Arena
Easiest route, 3 biggest cities in Japan, lots of things to see around, even if you don’t moonspeak it won’t be a problem.
A) July 8-23 (15 nights, 4 lives @14-day JR Pass) Land in Tokyo, shinkansen to Nagoya. 9-10th live. Go around Nagoya or Hinamizawa. Head to Kansai area for tourism heaven in Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka! 18th live. Use up your JR Pass, just get to Tokyo before it expires in 21st. Final live reachable by normal train.
B)  July 8-19 (11 nights, 3 lives @7-day JR Pass) July 8 land in Osaka, shinkansen to Nagoya. 9-10th live. Go around Kansai, get to Osaka before JR Pass expires on 14th. Stay in Osaka until 18th live.

Route 2: Hall
It’s the best way to enjoy hall lives.. tho nothing much to see. BUT, there’s a chance to see Faylan which I very much recommend ^_^ and that 77th Nana live.
A) June 3-9 (6 nights, 2 lives + Faylan! @7-day JR Pass). Land in Osaka, rush to Kyoto for Faylan’s live! Get to Nana’s Kanazawa (77th LIVE!) and Niigata. Use up JR Pass to go around.
B) June 3-14 (11 nights, 3 lives + Faylan! @14-day JR Pass). Same as above + Hamamatsu live. If budget allows, stay extra 2 nights until JR Pass expires.
C) May 20-30 (9 nights, 3 lives). Land in Tokyo. Normal train to Tochigi live. The cheapest 3-live route if you stay in Tokyo and take bus to 2-day Sendai live. Or shinkansen without JR Pass (10k one-way). Get JR Pass only if you want to go around.

Route 3: Stalker
lol not only live, the main attraction is Nana’s hometown. ^^;
A) June 17-28 (11 nights, 2 lives @14-day JR Pass). Land in Tokyo, slowly enjoy 1-day trip to Sapporo by train. 18th live. Enjoy Sapporo, enjoy travelling to the other end, explore Kansai or Shikoku area, get to Matsuyama for 25th live.. explore Nana’s hometown! Get back to Tokyo. If you have budget, stay longer until JR Pass expires.
B) June 21-27 (6 nights, 1 live lol @7-day JR Pass). Land  in Osaka. Same as above just for Matsuyama live and Nana’s hometown lol. +Kansai travelling. Much cheaper than above route.

If I were overseas, I’d choose Route 2B (77th live + Faylan) or Route 3A (cuz I’m a creepy stalker).

..

This post is mostly for myself, but I hope I helped.
Can’t wait for Live Journey :3

Finally we see into the mind of the great Danie-sama. Surely this is why you are the Pope of the Holy Nana Church.

To plan it out so intricately with so much time until the lives even happen…a pretty intimidating read. This is definitely what separates the Alpha Nana fans like you from the plebeians like me, who just get the hotel and tickets, then leave the rest to Fate. (hahahaha… @_@)

<3 for the overseas plans too, some of these routes look reallyyyyy tempting…and the fact that you even took the time to plan it out for other people. Mind = blown.

  2. reinforce reinforce says:

    damn crazy plan lol..xD
never bored reading your blog hahaha..

  3. Etherlite Etherlite says:

i hate when i found out m holiday starts after the last leg, therefore i’ll go for nagoya and get 2 lives on a weekend, skipping 2 days of school, hopefully a sick letter will be enough, only fearing if there are tests during the 2 days…

  4. amelala amelala says:

woot! that a long list XD enjoy your trip! ^_^ *for 3 months lol*
but plz dont get weak or sick in the middle of the trip ^_^”

  5. cc1926 cc1926 says:

Wowowow!!! You plan to attend all concerts? I have to salute you for that.

Urgh!!! I want to follow live tour but I’m pretty sure my cruel boss won’t allow long dayoffs again after 2 weeks vacations during Live Grace. Holidays in crazily busy time of this year around May-early June is nearly impossible. I think I may be able to make it to only one concert. -_-

  6. WLHT WLHT says:

    SH………………………………………………IT!!!!!

    =(

OMG OMG OMG YOU MADE IT TOO TEMPTING.

But I’m not in working class so going for LIVEs is totally impossible for me now. T.T

  8. EvilLinkz EvilLinkz says:

What kind of sinister job do you have so that you can afford to go to all these? Also where can I donate to the cause? I certainly don’t have money to go to Japan again.

  9. danie~ danie~ says:

@EvilLinkz: Actually my budget estimation is about 200k yen less than usual Japanese fans who go with shinkansen and stay in an actual place (I’d probably camp outside halls lol).

@amelala: The weather should be pretty nice. Hopefully. xD

    @cc1926: I hope you can go! :3

    @Socratics101: You’re just lazy. *kicks*

  10. Ryan-Hoshino Ryan-Hoshino says:

300k is all worth it just for Nana, I wish I could go to see her live =’( except work and school in the way. True Nana fans really shine when they show their Nana spirit like you. Osu!

  11. Arianna Arianna says:

    What a great post *___*
I think I love you…but…300k is really expensive…I’ll have to sell a kidney to do something like that .-.

Anyway, is it possible to go just to one or two dates of the lives?

And anyway…how can I get tickets? XD

Sorry for the dumb questions but I’m really clueless about the “lives world”…just a new entry XD

  12. cc1926 cc1926 says:

I’ll go to the live in Hamamatsu :D

Btw, Toyoko Inn is a good choice. I had stayed in that Sendai hotel before and I choose this hotel chains for this trip as well.

  13. Lee Lee says:

I envy you… …i hope i can go to see my favorite seiyuu live too!!

  14. RjOkami RjOkami says:

Oh god I can probably make one of those concerts. O_O Do you know when they start selling tickets and where to buy them? I’d be coming from overseas..

  15. Wahoho Wahoho says:

Hi danie. Thanks for the informative post. Im planning on going to the Saitama live in July 24. Would you happen to know where to buy tickets? Im in Tokyo by the way. Are there any ticket booth or convience stores where i can buy them? Thanks in advance

  16. danie~ danie~ says:

It’s written on the official website since months ago. General tickets out June 11 and should be all gone by now… well when it comes to this there’s still auction :-/

  17. Wahoho Wahoho says:

That’s too bad. I was really anticipating for this live since I came here in Japan. If There’s really no other way, Ill just wait for the next live. Hoping there’s another live before the year ends. Thanks!

  18. Wahoho Wahoho says:

Also, could you tell me where I can go and buy a ticket? I seem cant find it on the official website. I will be trying to get one just in case there’s still left. I also might try auctioning in case tickets are sold out. This will also be helpful for the next live so I can get them on the day tickets will be sold. Really appreciate the help :)

  19. Fdo Fdo says:

    Hi!! =D
I wanted to ask you if you knew where I could get auction tickets, for Osaka or Saitama (last 2 concerts). I´ll be going to Japan that week, and I´ve always dreamed of going to one of Nana´s concerts.
    Thanks (= !!

  20. danie~ danie~ says:

the official website links to general ticket sellers but it was on sale earlier last month and sold out.

there is still Yahoo Auction.. but you will need middleman etc to bid and handle the transaction~ there will be scalpers on the day for sure but they will charge more than auction + middleman fee for a more crappy ticket >_

  21. Fdo Fdo says:

    Thanks for the information =D!!
I heard there was going to be another concert in December this year in Tokyo =D!!
