Didn’t do me much when I first listened it in the FC event, since the tunes goes faster and slower unexpectedly, confused the hell out of me and most fans ^^; it’s impossible to otagei to this spontaneously unlike, say, Dear Dream.
The song itself is no match compared to the first 3 Nanoha songs, but I like this more than Massive Wonders after a few listens. And definitely much better than Mugen lol.
The PV will follow soon, hopefully. From the clothes she wore during MJ, I can imagine something like WILD EYES.. but anything that doesn’t look like Ali Project is fine, right? xD

wow. i didn’t expect Phantom Minds to sound like that. those 5 seconds from the clip of Nana singing it live, gave me the impression that it was a very powerful song, especially the way Nana expressed herself.
nonetheless, i love the song <3 my favourite part of the song is still the chorus of course. with the ups and downs, it really sounds awesome.
i really hope i’ll manage to get Phantom Minds as my bday present…released 6 days before….*prays hard*

At 2:12 – 2:20 when the Phantom Minds’ guitar solo play it’s really sounds like Mugen’s Guitar solo. lol.

Totally awesome. I love the parts where there almost no music and you can hear her voice clean. Anyway, it’s easier to listen than Mugen. Waiting for the PV….

I really liked the song but as I said in previous posts, I wish Nana wouldn’t rely so much on her falsetto skills, since it gets kinda repetitive and her voice doesn’t really need it ALL the time to sound awesome.

PHANTOM MINDS (as a single/song) is shaping up to be LEAGUES better than Mugen. I just hope they start hyping her for Kohaku/etc with it instead of Mugen once the PV hits, b/c even though I’m used to it now, having that out of all her music collection representing her musical talent is disgusting. :/
*after repeating it for the 20th times* i think i know what danie means by the tunes goes faster and slower unexpectedly, the instrumental part in between every lines tends to get faster, yet when nana’s voice kicks back in, the tunes will get slower.
this isn’t really bad for listening, but for fans swinging penlight according to the rhythm in the concert really need to remember when the tempo is rising and dropping or they will get confused. Also need to stay focused, so if nana wear something really appealing, i bet danie will be busy wiping her nosebleed all the time
first time listening to this…I like it WAY more than any Nanoha theme song. There’s something very quaint about Innocent Starter &c. that doesn’t pack the punch of this melody.
