Pokemon Movie Stage Greetings

lol I owe you all 3 stations.. let’s see if I can at least manage 1 before Osaka. xD

But anyway, today was Pokemon movie premiere!!
Nana is voicing the main Pokemon character, the legendary victory Pokemon, Victini (ビクティニ)!!

Like the game release, the movie has 2 versions: Black and White.
The difference was the legendary Pokemon that Satoshi/Ash will use (Black Hero / Zekrom or White Hero / Reshiram). Also Shoko-tan’s character, a little girl in Black and a little boy in White. Not much other variety besides different camera angle here and there..

I love Pokemon since the first generation, but the only reason I woke up earlier than weekdays to attend the first 9 am screening was because of the stage greeting. xD

There are 4 stage greetings, but I only attended the first two in TOHO Cinema Nichigeki.
TOHO stage greetings was after Black screening and before White screening. Attending the next 2 in Odaiba will not only cost double, but would require me to leave right after TOHO’s White greetings to make it to Odaiba greetings… which of course many people did, but I think it’s rather rude.

The movie was fairly entertaining, except the fact I didn’t know I could download a lv.100 Zekrom and Reshiram for free so I didn’t bring my NDS FFFF. Anyway, Nana was very cute!

More pics here. I’m somewhere on the right side, row 7-8ish. All guests wore a yellow happi coat and each of them talked for about 3-5 mins. Enough time to staaaare at Nana xD

Nana said it’s the first time she voices a Pokemon.. moreover it’s the main Pokemon that’s also IN the movie title. She said it wasn’t easy to express emotions when you only have “Tini~~~” as your line. ^^;;
Since Macaron was Victini’s favorite food in the movie, sometimes during recording they only served macaron.. LOL. Nana also did some live adlib! Well just tini~tini~ but it was sew cute. :3

After talk sessions, there was photo-shoot session and CM recording.

Everyone was asked to wear this Victini hat and shouted TINIIII while doing double-V pose. Got some confetti too.

Bought real macarons on my way home in a famous patisserie in Ikebukuro. DAMN sweet and expensive but oh well..

Random notes.
-My favorite MC was definitely Shokotan!! She’s A LOT more interesting than I thought! She spent more than 1000 hours playing the new Pokemon game that worth more than her life. ^^;;; She remembers that 14 years ago, when she had no friends and spent the whole summer holiday playing Pokemon….. ^^;;;;;;;; and that she learned many life lessons from Pokemon, then ended up thanking Pikachu while bowing to the huge Pokemon kigurumi LOL.

-Glad I finally got to meet Matsumoto Rika in person.. she already quit JAM Project when I started going to lives.
-4 movie-original characters are voiced by real actors/actresses, and it’s their first seiyuu roles or sth, but they did an okay job I guess.

-Fair number of kids and parents, glad they could grab tickets seeing how desperate Nana/Shokotan fans were.. the server was down after ticket sales started.
-As expected some otaku fans just couldn’t behave. Shouting names are okay, but some dudes actually waved penlights (including the famous 8 ultra green dude..) when it’s Nana’s turn to talk. I swear I saw Nana looked rather embarrassed while trying to ignore them.

-And lastly, I hope the weird Victini-cosplaying UNCLE won’t traumatize the kids… like seriously, he wore Victini full-body costume / kigurumi and super sweaty face (it was 35 degree!) with red blush on his cheeks… that even got me shocked… orz.

Leaving to Nagoya for tomorrow’s Koukousei Quiz event… staying the night (doing my assignment) then leaving to Osaka for Station 11 orz my holiday….
