I’m busy so I’ll just make it quick.. er, Mizuki Nana’s upcoming album title is out.
ULTIMATE DIAMOND
…like, WTF? What next, AWESOME PWNAGE? And I thought Gimmick Game (the first original track for the album) was funny enough.
Gimmick Game is used as the opening number of TBS stupid TV show Card Gakuen that I actually bothered to watch last week (3.30 AM in Aussie!), hoping to catch a glimpse of Nana’s new song.. but f*** no, the song only appears for 2 seconds and the rest are 25-minutes of dumb idol cosplayers playing cards with otaku.
Well the snippet ended too quick before I can hear anything good, but it was fast-paced. Composed by Fujita Junpei of Elements Garden and lyricist Hibiki. Fujita’s work.. I’m hoping for something more like Happy Dive rather than, er, Cosmic Love.
I was expecting the song to be played in yesterday’s Smile Gang but no.. instead she was so proud to announce this arutimeito daiamondo (she can’t even pronounce that properly) and talked about strong shining light whatever.
LOL it seems I always complain about Nana’s English title choices but end up buying 5+ copies of them. So yeah, looking forward to it~ ♪

Well, other nana mizuki songs/albums also have cheesy titles, in fact, lots of j music that use english as titles are cheesy (don’t know about the jap ones, since i can’t read most of the stuff).

wah bu, apapun judulnya, bikin ngakak atau tidak. Itu urusan yang bikin lagu. pas Noel pun Nana diberikan lagu-lagu yang kurang oke. Tapi Nana bisa maksimalkan perannya.
