..because nobody cares about the CD part of the album.
Srsly, Tamura Yukari’s albums are getting worse (I didn’t like Izayoi too). If there’s no bonus DVD I wouldn’t even consider downloading Komorebi no Rosette, let alone buying. Something is wrong if her latest song I really dig was released on 2006 (Douwa Meikyuu). 
Actually her singing skill is getting better, proven in the live DVDs, but not her songs. I only like 4 tracks out of 13, and two of them are singles remix. *facepalms*
Nice package like usual, and Gamers were being sweet by giving Valentine Card freebie alongside the usual bromide. It’s fitting considering Yukarin was my Valentine~ xD I spent the whole day looping this DVD lol.
So, Yukari-chan Matsuri is something like Nana Festa in 2007, where Yukarin sang top 10 of her songs, voted online. Unlike Festa, this is a FC event, and was held in Aichi, Kyoto, and Tokyo. One thing you’d notice is the massive number of lunatic fans there.

It’s him!! See the jumping guy in pink afro wig? I sat in front of him in 8.30 Animelo and this bastard hit my head at least 10 times throughout the concert. -_-;

The fans were ruining this song by yelling “YUKARIN!” and/or cheering every 3 seconds. Well, not only this song.
#8 Wakusei no Rendezvous
Can’t call it a Yukarin live if she performed without any mistake. xD

My all-time favorite Yukarin song was only ranked 7th. >_<

Another personal favorite~ <3 Seeing the number of UO sticks cracked, this song deserved better spot.. also it currently holds Yukarin’s record as her best-selling CD single.
# Acoustic corner.
Long-haired Yukarin is fine too. <3 She sang three acoustic songs: Spiritual Garden, Sweet Darlin’, and Jellyfish.
Yukarin plays piano! Only for a minute and she forgot how so many times.
Only our princess thinks that playing percussion feels like cooking okonomiyaki.

The only Nanoha song in the list, for obvious reasons (it’s her loli voice!). The Yukarin retards really got into my nerves in this song.

This is a 2003 song. See I told you, a lot of her fans are stuck in the past, considering only 3 out of the top 10 were released after 2006.

Staring at Yukarin(’s ears) for a couple of hours seriously holds zero appeal for me. Not to mention the music sucks.. so I’ll stick to listening to Kuro Usagi for my fill of Yukarin & save my money for Hocchan CDs instead ^^;

Frankly speaking, I wasn’t a really big fan of Tamura Yukari’s singing voice until Little Wish caught onto me. I personally thought Izayoi was one of the better ones compared to her earlier albums. Her latest album was somewhat more of a remix than one bursting with new songs, kinda disappointed and a little disappointing to boot.
Maybe I haven’t heard it that many times till it hooked onto me. Same goes for some other Seiyuu albums. Even Chihara Minori’s Contact did not hook onto me until…. 5 hearings later? lolz.

Lotsa shops in Akihabara dealing in 2nd hand CD copies. I swiped the entire load of Horie Yui’s old albums for half the original price when I was there. Yukarin’s next on my list.

@PPP: I usually refuse to buy 2nd-hand goods unless they’re freakin’ cheap/rare. It goes against my belief in “supporting artists”, and for Yukarin/Hocchan stuff, the A-quality CD aren’t that cheap too, maybe few hundred yen difference? Naah, I’d choose Japanese store bonus if I were you.
I don’t like her “really early” albums too, I guess from True Romance (’03) to Gin no Senritsu (’06).

I don’t normally mind the shouting, like in fancy baby doll when Yukarin pointed the microphone at the crowd or the chulu chulu chulu payapa-ing in Mizuki Nana’s Discotheque, ’cause sometimes it makes watching the lives more fun. Oh well. I don’t think they pull that when Yukarin does †メタウサ姫～黒ゆかり王国ミサ～† live unless they want to nyan along.
Argh, I only really like 3 songs on the album now and one of them was a remix of a single, too. >_>; I wonder what the Asu no Yoichi! character single will sound like.

I agree on most songs being terrible, as opposed to the more lively performances (and better choice of older songs). I actually like the fans though and their insane chanting/memorization of key movements and half the audience even whipping out official Milk/Cherry puppets during Koiseiyo. I guess everyone has their own taste but a live performance without enough active audience participation does not have enough spirit to me - especially when the singer herself is encouraging it. I always rip concert audio instead of listening to CD versions.
Interestingly, the fans are either getting louder, or their shouting is being intentionally enhanced in post editing because when I play the same songs from different concerts side by side it’s incredibly easy to hear the difference. This concert probably has the loudest fans yet.

@r: I won’t be surprised if they nyan-ed along. They followed every single movement she did in Chelsea Girl. Nyan-ing is easy.
@paranda: Yeah I noticed that this live was like watching mental institution patients go wild, but it’s understandable since this’s the first FC event that we get in DVD; meaning every single one of them was a Yukarin fan, as opposed to normal live-goers in other DVD.
Don’t get me wrong, I love cheering and the louder the better (churu-churu-churu payapa~ xD) but I still want to hear the singer’s voice too.

The whole album is great, yeah its different from what she use to do, but i find each song awesome. And about the dvd, there were a lot of songs that should be there and weren’t, but i still like a lot the ones she sang.
